If you need any help with the site, please don't hesitate to ask! :) Are you on mobile? That could explain some of the frustration. I'm old school and still prefer using my laptop for most of my online stuff. :D

Facebook groups are great for some things but I personally don't like the way they're ever-moving, it's very difficult to find older discussions and to read long threads. And the format doesn't encourage lengthy comments and in-depth discussion as much. I like being able to read posts in chronological order, and I like clear structures. I don't even use the functionalities Artemesia's Garden mentioned - when I come to the site I simply click through all the individual boards to see which threads have new messages, and jump to the last unread message by clicking the 'new' icon. You can do whatever works for you. :)
