Hi, I'm Jorden! I use she/her pronouns. I'm 26 years old, from California, USA, and I'm completely obsessed with G1 ponies.
I adored the look of MLPs as a child, but my mom refused to let me have any because the collectability of the little cuties meant that I would just want more, and more, and more! And she wasn't wrong. Now that I'm an adult I've struggled to stop myself from buying more ponies...I unexpectedly ran into a great stock of G1 ponies at a local vintage toy store that had just opened, and there I bought my very first pony, Seashell!!
Now I have a shelf full of G1s. I have some rules that govern my collecting to make sure I don't go too overboard: 1) the ponies have to be pre-owned 2) they have to require some amount of cleaning, even if it's just washing the hair, and 3) I cannot buy more ponies until I'm done cleaning/restoring (to the best of my current ability) the last pony I bought, otherwise I will end up with an overwhelming "stash," just like my partner and his model kits. :shocked:
The MLP Arena marks my first time on a forum like this, so I'm super excited to be here! I've been looking for an online community that loves these little beasties as much as I do so we can gush about them together, and also trade some cleaning tips and talk about mystery pony stains. :lol: Nice to meet y'all, and hope to talk to you soon! :^)
