Is RetroDollsUS still going? Her Etsy says she's taking a break but it was last updated in February so I'm curious if she decided to shut down.

The guide sounds really helpful, I have several pony projects I want to do that involve recreating G1 ponies and need the hair to be right, and the only other store that both uses the same name and has all the colours I need is in the UK (I'm in Canada)

Here's a question though, has anyone placed an order with Dolly Hair since it changed hands? I know a lot of people have written it off and one of my friends had issues with the one order she placed, but that was shortly before, does anyone know if they're better to order from now?

Shimmerlocks is amazing, and I’ve also had good experience with the Dollyverse.

Slightly bad update, I rehaired a pony in the Custompony.com hair, and it seems to be some kind of polypropylene. It's water-resistant, stiff, and the ends started getting rough/damaged just from the brushing I did while I was rehairing her. It takes a cold curl (which poly usually won't), so it may be a very high-quality poly, or some kind of nylon I've never heard of, but it's definitely not interchangeable for MLP nylon. The good news is that the 'finisher' that was on the hair washed off, so now my fingers don't get tacky from handling it anymore!

If I recall correctly, CustomPony hair has always been a bit off. I have some that a friend gave me years ago and I've never used it because it felt stiff.
