After a long while of leaving my pony hobby and collecting to the wayside, I've decided to jump back onto the arena. I haven't really used this account/been on the forums since maybe around 2008-2009, when G3.5 began to emerge. I felt a sense that the G3 ponies I've grown up with were about to go through a reboot similar to the two generations before it. Once G3.5 & G4 came along, I started high school, then college, then art college, and now I'm in the workforce whilst living through a pandemic, and I notice myself longing for a simpler time. A time when all I cared about was my collection of ponies, kingdom hearts, and ouran high school host club.
Needless to say, this means I want to start some personal projects involving my pony-centric ideas. Some of which include an art projects where I do a deep dive into the prompt: "How would I design the next Generation" and creating a graphic novel about my own OCs (re-living my life at age 8).
Anyway, nice to be back & I've missed how warm this community has made my heart.
