My spider plants apparently brought some flies in with them. Or at least, eggs or larvae or something in their soil. Yesterday there were flies all over my bedroom window. I hate having to resort to the vacuum cleaner in such situations, and I got out as many as possible, but it just wasn't realistic. On the positive, the couple of spiders who make their home on my window (yes, I know they're there, no, I don't mind at all) thought Christmas had arrived early and had already taken care of a few flies before I even got to them.
