I don't think we have anything like that. Besides, I don't really want to do that. The thought makes me feel... I dunno. I don't want more attention on me, I'd rather be invisible if I wear anything it will be one of those DO NOT PET signs for service dogs

Haha xD I know how you feel. I refuse to have a lanyard either, for similar reasons. I feel like if I have to ask for help, their accessibility has failed xD.

I bought something at Hobby Lobby today.  I thought the ad said the item would be 40% off but it rang up for 30% off instead.  I'm still happy that I got the item on sale but I'm not sure what the sale price was supposed to be.  It's not worth going back to the store for the extra $4.

I have to help Dad cut Mum's hair. Again.

I don't enjoy doing this. At all.

She normally would go to the hairdresser but because COVID it's become difficult, esp. as she's the most at risk. So this is the compromise. We're hoping in the new year she can go back to her normal system.

But in the meantime...sigh.

Taffeta, I feel you on that. I used to perm my mom's hair and hated it. The smell from the chemicals always gave me a headache and I was always worried I was poking her head too hard or worse of all, that it wouldn't turn out and she'd get mad at me. I'm so glad she stopped having me do that. I had been recruited in that role since I was like 8 or 9! My dad had me buzz his hair once, didn't like that either, but he hasn't asked me to do it since.

Lots of small complaints this morning

I've got another sore on my tongue that hurts way too much. It's radiating to my teeth and jaw and even my ear. I thought it was my impacted wisdom tooth but nope. Years ago, they used to sell these patches for covering up mouth sores but I guess they don't anymore. I found something similar but it's really expensive.

I'm soooo stiff and sore. I love the cold weather we're having but my joints and bones sure don't.

Ran out of my favorite coffee. I have backups but they're so weak compared to my usual. Coffee prices are going to skyrocket. I hope I can afford to get some.

My cat has been very restless the last couple of days. It might be the weather for her too. But she hasn't been eating a lot and doesn't even want her treats. It's possible she has another hairball but I think (hope) it's mostly the cold that's bothering her.

ugh i've been cutting my partner's hair since the pandemic started and i hate it. i don't think i'm very good at it either but he hates going to the hair salon so he says he wants me to keep cutting it. i told him that i was done in august but then delta. after christmas we both need to get our hair cut by a professional so i may just drag him along with me when i go. my hair hates central texas so i need it to be shorter. i'm also starting to get gray hair more and more. i'm not sure how i feel about it.

My mom had an at home sleep study in October. Since then she has been trying to get her results and the place that ordered the study just kept telling her to call her dr.  The drs office finally told my mom who to talk to at the other place and now she has to have another sleep study done because Medicare won't accept the one she did at home.


My dad described a movie to me as "the one like the movie we just watched but with horses.  The horses played a bigger role."  I think I have a pretty good memory but I can't remember every scene in every movie we've ever watched and vague descriptions like that don't help.

I cut my hair all the time and I don't mind it lol. I would cut my partner's but his hair is super curly and from what I understand there's a different technique to do for that D:

Good news - my cat feels better

Complaint - I have a massive headache. Already took some medicine but it's taking a while to kick in.

I got the results of my blood test and I'm iron anemic again. I fixed it once with iron pills years ago but I stopped taking them because they have nasty side effects. This does explain my weakness and stuff though.

I went to the store and there was a lady that was encouraging her child to jump out and scream at people as they went by.  She then laughed when the child did that and told him to do it to the next person.  I went down another aisle because I didn't feel like having the child do that to me. 

My dad ordered something off the Internet without asking me about until after he ordered it.  That would be fine but he orders a lot of things from websites that he finds through Google instead of sticking to major websites.  He thought he ordered a DVD but he ordered a digital copy instead.  Now he's upset that he ordered that instead of a DVD.  I don't think he can get a refund since it was a digital purchase.

@BlackCurtains ugh, iron supplements, I had to take some a while back & yes, hello unusually coloured poo! 

@Ponyfan hyper kids in grocery stores are no fun when all you want to do is shop in peace!

I dropped off my kid at school this morning; I waved at her & didn't notice that I was about to walk into a small bench. I busted my shin but had to act cool & walk to my car as if nothing happened (I was screaming inside!) after getting home & lifting up my trouser leg I spied a big bit of skin had been scraped off & had localised swelling. Put a plaster on it & hoping for the best... it only hurts if I accidentally put pressure in it.

Speaking of... My cat woke me up. She was standing on my pillow above my head. I smelled poo and sure enough she had a poo foot. On my pillowcase. And she had walked the length of my body on my blanket. SIGH Sometimes having an old cat is hard.

Also I'm cold. I wasn't when I woke up and actually had the fan on but now I'm chilly. And I have no coffee!
