White Skyflier
« on: May 27, 2021, 04:41:29 AM »
Please can someone tell me why my Skyflier is white
I have a lot of people watching her, is she a variant of some kind?

It says Italy under her hoof and I wondered if she was rare?
I mean, do I have her set as the correct starting bid?

I don't see any documentation regarding a White Italian Skyflier. She might just be faded or there should be a more in-depth study about this someday. I can't really help for the price.

Pink Italian ponies fade very easily. It's not unusual to see Italian Twilight, Firefly, Skyflier, and a few other in very pale shades of pink or even completely white. Sometimes people assume white is a true variant, but it is just the result of fading. That said, some people like the white versions just because they look different.

Thanks for your help guys, it’s strange because the symbols are perfect minus the glitter, makes me think it had no glitter to start with, the kites are a super dark purple, looks so different to the original versions

Italy Skyflier was a childhood pony of mine, I gave her away last year and she also had some slightly faded areas on her body, so I'm 99% sure she's just faded.

Italian ponies do not have glitter on their symbol. Only paint. It's a trait of theirs. I guess their vinyl fades more easily than their paint.
