Shelving advice
« on: April 04, 2021, 11:24:15 PM »
I was in a great apartment for a long time but then the building was sold and the new owners raised the rent so I ended up having to toss most my shelving units because they were to bulky. Now I've been here for about a year and a half and most of my collections are in tubs these days except a select few that sit on top of other things. I need shelving but since I live in an apartment I can't put anything on a wall and I don't want anything that I can't just take apart and lay flat if we ever end up having to move again. Any ideas on what to use? I need both pony size and fashion doll size space.

What about utility shelves? They're plastic and just snap together. It's the kind of thing people usually use in the garage.

Something like this

Unfortunately that's too bulky.

Maybe wire cube shelving could work?  I think those come apart pretty easily, and you can make them in all different configurations.  You could use cardboard or some other material to make the bottoms of the cubes solid.

I found something called a Furinno Turn-n-Tube shelf that looks like it might work for my dolls. Now if only I could find something similar for my ponies and other smaller things because otherwise I'm gonna have a lot of empty space.
