Wow, I just went down an Amazon rabbit hole of looking at rubber stamp-making supplies...I didn't even know you could buy stuff like that! I could probably have a lot of fun with that, if someone would only find me a babysitter for a day or 2! Looks like a trip to the craft store soon wouldn't be a waste of time...

I have used ready-to-carve sheets similar to those posted by Pokeyonekenobie, the ones I got were from ebay and my particular ones had the consistency of school erasers, so were very easy to cut.

If you have a small stamp, you can mount it on the end of a thick dowel (or an old pen) to make it easier to dab with!
