Let’s talk about how it is the ultimate disrespect to give Team Rockets Meowth, from Pokémon, a tragic backstory about how he learned to walk on two feet for this girl cat, only to get rejected by her, and then shortly after we see other region’s cat Pokémon (Purloin, Galarian and Alolan Meowth) standing on two feet instead of four. Stop it, Game Freak. Stop disrespecting Meowth!

But the series is not canon to the games? So I am guessing the game developers had no idea about the show plot line.
