Hadn't heard of that one! Thanks for the rec. I'll have to check it out.
I tend to prefer Japanese books for crafting, because I find they have the best instructions, and waaay more content. Ngl, the worst craft how to book I've found here was still better 7/10 of similar books I've found in the states. And the best books blow American published craft books right out of the water. And don't get me started on the craft magazines! It's even more pronounced there. Tutorial writing is a skill...that most people don't have, lol.
That being said, Japanese books have their flaws, lol! For example.... Fair warning about the english translations in the Hanon book, for some reason they consistently translated the word 'fabric' as 'dough'. Doesn't affect the readability of the instructions, it's just funny. Why no one noticed before printing, I have no idea, lol.
Oh, and the patterns come sized for dolls in 3 sizes, at 100percent. No resized copy mistakes, yay! Lol.
