I love Star Hopper's mane, she looks so cute! And that watercolor Princess Crystal is absolutely gorgeous, I love how you did the night sky!

I decided to do something a little bit different this time. I love astronomy, and ponies with a space theme. So I really wanted to blow this one out of the water. Rather than draw like I often do, I decided to up my game a bit. I've recently been learning a lot more about texturing in blender, so I wanted to do something with that. Originally I hoped to do the celestial swirl ponies, but found them a bit too difficult for my skill level. So, I chose to switch gears and try something a little simpler.
Star Hopper has been on my wish list for a while, so she was the next candidate in line. I drew up the texture for her body in FireAlpaca, and applied it to an Octavia model in Blender (credit to Mythicspeed on DA for the original model) and attached a horn from their starlight rig. Then applied the symbol which I also drew up in FireAlpaca. A bit of (read a week of) adjusting so everything would sit properly (thank the gods for UV mapping), and I am pleased to revel the final result:

I attempted to make her translucent like the toy with no success, but I am working on that. I'm still learning.
She is fully rigged and poseable like all other blender ponies. The downside is I haven't quite figured out how to get her horn to attach to the body. I move the head and the horn stays in one place, not moving. I'm hoping to fix that before I make the model available to the public. If you'd like to try it out, please be patient while I fix the errors. They will (hopefully) be fixed sooner rather than later. I will post when she is at a level of quality I am satisfied with sharing.

I took this art thread as a reason to draw something big, because I just couldn't decide which ponies to draw!! This kind of ended up as an alternate universe where celestial ponies are a thing and Star Flight is some kind of deity? Idk lol but I'm really happy w/ it! I adjusted the colors of a royalty-free space pic for the background

I LOVE your work here! These cosmic ponies are so pretty and I wish they were actually manufactured, I would have gotten all of them at any cost!
The deity idea sounds wonderful and the crown you gave Star Flight is so gorgeous

Mewtofan1 your 3D artwork looks so pretty ! I love it. It's nice to see Star Hopper that way. You did a really nice job. Unfortunately, I don't know how to help you with your Blender issues but I hope you'll figure this out.
