Having finished Sugar Moonlight as a regular brushable a couple weeks ago, I now want to make her in the larger size (the size of rainbow-mane Sunny).  Is this how a custom pony army starts?

Nudging this up.

What is everybody working on?

I've been taking a break but the itch is coming on again.

There are three things I'm partway through. My dark hoarfrost pony who needs to be airbrushed and haired. A memorial pony for my sister, I need to paint the base still and sculpt some things. Pony needs hair and a symbol. And finally my long project, a golden pheasant:

He is further along than this pic but not by much. I have so many feathers to sculpt.

I'm thinking I'll start back up next week. I want to finish them all in 2022. The hoarfrost boy has been sitting as a WIP for three years now.

:wow: Wow! The golden pheasant is sure to be really gorgeous!  :inlove:

 I have had an eternity project in progress for a couple of years now. Actually, I haven’t even started working on it yet. The plan is already drawn and a pony in poor condition awaiting customization. That should be a gift to my brother. I don't know at all when I'll just get it done.

When the paint goes weird & the sealer goes weird & you have to start over...

Aw, I'm sorry. Is it the climate? I have to be careful especially with sealer and not use it when it's too hot. I'd assume it does poorly in cold conditions as well.

I've been pulled aside from things. Will have to work on the ponies I had planned some other time.

The sculpting on that custom looks excellent, BC, I can't wait to see it completed!

I usually just check the humidity before using sealant.

I think it's more impatience on my part, not to mention the finicky nature of paint. Sometimes it takes a day to dry, sometimes a week...

I'm just like FINE. So you WON'T be done by Christmas...

Working on my custom Doctor Who Barbie dolls (seeing as I’m not going to pay ridiculous money for the Thirteenth Doctor) so she has the Barbie Space head on a Made to Move body. I’ve done Peri (Sixth Doctor’s companion), the Fifth Doctor even though his hair is lighter than it should be.

A mother pony can be protective of her young just like dogs.

I prepped my larger G5 bait last night, I was able to get head and neck plug parts out okay, yay!  But when it came to removing the paint markings with acetone, well, they didn't come off cleanly at all.  Fortunately I am planning a full body repaint so it won't matter, but if I had wanted to use the body as it was, well, there is just too much paint smearing.  Maybe I really needed to scrub even more with more acetone, I don't know.  Something to keep in mind...
Well, i'm one step closer to my Sugar Moonlight custom army

Stage 2 of repaint seems to be going well. Giving it time. One more big lot, then it's detail work

Oh & By the way, get to Clipper's Sail for some new glitter blanks & a few more blank Boys!!!

I started a new project. Sorry, birthflowers! You will have to wait a bit longer. Removing the glitter from this Zipp's wings is a total pain, but doable.

Sunpony - Are you using 100% acetone? If no, get you some. If yes, then I don't know lol. Paint smears happen with 100% but you usually only have to work on it for a little bit before it's all gone. Nail polish remover with acetone definitely causes smears.
