Name Change Problem

I had my name changed a couple months ago, but my old name is still showing up under account settings:
visitors can't see pics , please register or login


This seems to be making it so I can't log in using my username (have to use my e-mail instead), and I also can't change my password from that page (have to reset it instead). I feel I should note that I didn't get the password reset e-mail that the thread on how to change your name said I should have gotten.

Hm, that's odd - when I search for "PinkiePie97" in the members list, your account comes up, though it says "PinkieLopBun" as the account instead. I tried it with some other people who've changed their name and searching their old name does not yield their account - only searching their new name does. Yours seems to work both ways. Weird.

I've had a similar issue for many years now, ever since I changed my name, lol. I have to log in using my old username. I think I messaged someone about it once but never got a response.

Agreeing with Safflower, that is bizarre that you can still be searched under your old name as well.

I wonder how changing the names works to where it gets stuck halfway so commonly?

Do any admins have anything to say about this? I'm sorry if I'm being annoying, but the issue is still there and I haven't heard anything at all.

I haven't forgotten about this. Again, I'm sorry for being annoying, I know the staff have other stuff to do and can't get to everything right away, and I realize that there might be more pressing issues, but it's been months now and no one has even said anything. Even something like "we're aware of this issue" would be better than nothing.
