Discoloration on a Baby Dancing Butterflies?
« on: May 30, 2019, 08:43:40 PM »
I removed my Baby Dancing Butterflies from the display cabinet the other day and saw that she has some pinkish discoloration on her back left leg. I've had her about five years and I don't know her history before she came to me. It's kind of odd to me that a yellow pony would have pink discoloration -- this couldn't be peroxide cream showing up late, right? Any ideas? I don't think it's treatable, at any rate.

Oh no, poor pony!  It kind of reminds me of the discoloration my Quackers got.  Although hers was more brownish than orange.

This may be related but with my TAF Buttons, someone had coloured in the tip of her horn, her inner ears and a random patch on her leg. Albeit they're not the exact same colour, I would think it's some pen. Did she have it when you got her? Or did it pop up?

She didn't have it when I got her  It appeared at some point and I didn't notice.

Yeah, my guess is regrind or some other kind of plastic degradation.

I don't think it's peroxide damage, that usually has more defined edges and I think it would bleach the plastic paler, not result in orange.
