My house is a mess and needs cleaning but I'm sick with a cold and just don't feel like doing it. Also I have to work tonight and don't want to do that either

My ice cream is a 1 hour commute away, and I can't start that 1 hour commute for another 3 hours and 13 minutes...

Need my transmission fluid swapped out and the first place I went to told me they couldn't do it because they didn't have the right equipment for my make/model so I should take it somewhere else and that I should expect it to cost $300-400 and it would take about 2 hours.  I called Jiffy Lube and the guy said he could do it in about half an hour.  Not sure about the cost, but I can't imagine it costing what I was originally quoted by the first guy.

So I guess my complaint is that apparently I don't speak fluent "car maintenance".

Vanilla - there are very few lactose free flavors and I can't chew any other goodies that might be in ice cream right now. I guess I could complain about my braces while I'm at it lol.

It's daylight Savings tonight, meaning at 2 am the clocks skip forward one hour, and I lose and hour of sleep and my day starts earlier  -_-

Losing an hour to DST makes a bigger difference than I think it will! Last night I couldn't fall asleep (I try to be asleep by midnight) but my body clock wouldn't cooperate, so of course I had difficulty waking up in time for work this morning. I love love love the longer days, though. I feel so much more energetic. I dislike getting home from work when it's already dark, then I just want to go to bed.

Always a pleasure to take a 50 minute walk home in the middle of the night, the road too dangerous to bike, no public transport at the time and taxis too expensive. It's especially delightful doing it while limping as one slipped and fell on the same dangerous road yesterday.. Luckily i only met two strangers on my walk and neither of them was the evil kind. A, the joy of having such lovley work hours. :awake:

That thing when you feel meh but the kitchen sink is piled high with pots + pans to clean... grrr!

... and no one else seems to be able to do anything about it even though they just asked what would help you feel better when you're sick.  :pout:

Parked my car, went to the coin machine to buy a parking ticket - it took my only 50p coin... and *gulp* it swallowed it, but did not register that payment had been made!

So annoyed!  :argh:

Hit the machine to try and move the jammed coin... nothing. Cancel button did nothing either.

Got a 2p coin (the machine does not accept them) and popped it in to try and dislodge the other coin. Still nothing... pressed the cancel button and 2 seconds later...

lots of coins came out - including extra ones from previous frustrated users!  :beerchug:

I will never buy anything that works with suction cups AGAIN! :argh:

When we moved in here I bought these lovely green, flowery corner shelves with suction cups. I bought three for the shower, for shampoo and such, and two for the toilet. Oh yeah, and a little basket from the same stuff. So I stuck them to the wall. Ten minutes later I heard BANG! BANG! and BANG! They were all on the floor.
So today I bought these cute suction cup hands that you can stick to the bathroom wall, bottles and such will stick to it and it looks really fun.

That is, if it would WORK.

IT. DOESN'T. WORK!

We have some empty bottles that want to keep because they changed the design. I thought it would be nice to put them on the bathroom wall as a piece of art. I stuck them to the wall. They fell. :pout: And these are LIGHT, EMPTY bottles, too! So I thought I'd just keep the hands on the wall, after all they look cute without anything stuck to them too. They fell. :pout:
