Aldi finally started stocking our favorite yogurt again. I had about given up on it. The kids and I have already plowed through 3/4 of the 2 lb. carton already in one morning. Wish I had stocked up!

I got my first vaccine (Covid-19) yesterday and the man who injects it for me praised the My Little Pony shirt I was wearing. He said: Oh, what a wonderful pony shirt!  He was really excited! Too bad when there was no time to stay talking about ponies.

Bird babies here too! Yesterday, three or four baby starlings attempting to land on a pole (and sliding down it), and baby sparrows flapping around in the tree trying to keep their balance. Also a baby goldfinch we think, but it was flapping its wings so much it was hard to tell. Haven't seen the baby blackbirds but they're around too.

Sure the sparrows are nesting in the grape vine under my window. They do that sometimes, and they're sooo noisy. But last time they did I ended up with a baby sparrow in my room. So...I'm keeping alert.

I do love them though. They're so cute.

The new Sims4 Expansion Pack is going to be all about living in the country and raising a farm and animals!!!!!!!!!!!!!    

I've been waiting for an EP like this all my life

Now if they can add horses it will be complete. The Cottage Living pack has wild birds, rabbits, chickens, cows and llama and it also showed a fox going after the rabbits. I think there were new things to grow too and a largest vegetable competition! And all the stuff to build a cottage! OMG I can't wait!

I got to pick up a regal jumping spider at the flea market, and moved her to safety.  I also found some gen 3 pones a buck each.

A student I supervise told me that this year has been the best year ever, and I make it fun. And my tiny heart just exploded because I know I’m not their teacher. But I’m glad that I left some sort of a mark on at least one student.

The needle hedgehog I mentioned in the Trivial Complaints thread??? I found it!!! Not only that, but found a load of other useful stuff too yaiy!!! Productive me searching through everything only to find what I was looking for hidden by a sneaky plastic bag... Still worth it for the treasure trove of other stuff I found!!!

I stayed real cool when a fire broke out from one of my burners. I got a pot lid and set it over the fire and it went out. I'm not sure what caused it but there's soot down in the drip pan thingy. I'm thinking there was some food, or maybe plastic on the burner? I have a bad habit of setting things on the stove. But I was proud of myself that I didn't freak out or anything, the flames were pretty high. I acted fast enough that the fire alarm didn't even go off
