I scored some cheapo vidya games, Detroit: Become Human and NieR: Automata GOTY Edition. Together with shipping they cost me 12 bucks. I know all about NieR: Automata but know next to nothing about Detroit: Become Human. So I'll have a brand new (to me) game to play blind and another game that's awesome that I'll finally get to play!

I've been checking out American Girl stuff online lately, and was wishing I had kept some of my old catalogs from years past. I ended up finding a lot with 10 years worth of Christmas catalogs in a local listing for $5, which I was super excited about. The lady was really nice, and even threw in some DVDs.

Then I had left them laying on the kitchen counter, figuring I'd put them away before my husband could come home and make fun of me about them. But he got home early, and he saw them and asked about them. To my surprise, he was actually interested in them and spent about 10 minutes looking through them with me, reminiscing about when we bought his older daughters (my stepdaughters) their dolls a decade ago. He said that it was awesome that I found the catalogs and that he was happy I was finding some new hobbies.

my partner got his vaccine yesterday. it was the single dose Johnson & Johnson one. so far no serious side effects. just a sore arm and sleepiness. hoping i'll be able to get one soon when Texas moves to its next phase.

Dad and I went for a walk this morning. Aside from seeing the pretty daffodils and some squirrels playing around the trees by the pond...

Someone had stuck motivational postits on the lampostsand the bus stop.

I already knew we had some interesting neighbours sincethe incident  when someone wrote "slow!" on the road in welsh (we are far enough from the Welsh border for that to be a bit odd)...but this was the next step.

Things like, "tomorrow is a new day you've never lived before" and "storms don't just cause devastation, sometimes they clear the way."

I got pony mail!  And I made some DELICIOUS venison tenderloin'n'onions.  And its Friday!

I don't know why but for some reason I'm having one of those days when I am in a ridiculously positive mood and everything feels fun to do, I can't explain it but I'm not complaining.

All the ladybirds huddled together on the rosemary and dotted all over the garden. It's like they're getting ready for a spring party <3.

I finally set up my all regional DVD player that I got for Christmas (it’s been in the box since Christmas guess how many years/months/days). Put my PS2 in my parents room.

I changed my ringtone a few months ago to Moonlight Densetsu, the opening theme from Sailor Moon and it makes me smile every time my phone rings even if it's a telemarketer.

It must be years since I watched SM, and yet it's one of THOSE songs that never leaves your brain. EVER.

It's only 2pm and I've gotten a lot done today already Most of it was phone calls, but considering I hate talking on the phone and get anxious, it's a big accomplishment (I almost put it off until Monday).
