Good for you! I love tortoises, but I never get to see any while out and about - they're very lovely critters.  I did see some delightful wood pigeons, though, everybody around my way seems to take those birds for granted but I absolutely love them, they have such a beautiful, homely, calming song, and their plumage is quite uplifting, in an understated way.

Our local lakes have baby moorhens...goslings and ducklings. One of the little moorhen chicks sassed Dad and I tge other day. Tiny little featherball trying to play tough. Moorhens are such funny little birds.

The geese are also so good crossing the road safely, even with the babies. All the traffic stops for them.

Ok. Last few days I clean all ponies in my collection. Summer is coming! So much dust... I have some boxes and containers and I worried about spiders who can try to create their webs here. Yesterday my boxes are been full, but I need more for my ponies. Today I went to supermarket and asked about unecessary boxes... And now I have five! One of this boxes from under croissants. Little, but so cute! Now some my ponies will lie in box with words: "Mini-croissants with vanilla creme"

I got my printer working on the internet connection at my dad's house with no trouble whatsoever! Not to jinx it but... "Muahahaha! At last, the dreaded scourge of Modern Technology has come under my nefarious control!" ... Needed to be done.

Had a shot at online groceries... & Tesco had a slot!!! For tomorrow night!!! Literally the only one they had, but I'm not silly. I nabbed it!!! Sorted for another two weeks

Wonderful day, and I just applied the last coat of sealant on my first OOAK doll. She’s not quite finished, I still need to make her dress and finish painting her accessories. But it’s been so much fun! I’ve wanted to do this for so long!

Had a shot at online groceries... & Tesco had a slot!!! For tomorrow night!!! Literally the only one they had, but I'm not silly. I nabbed it!!! Sorted for another two weeks

We have a Tesco slot for Friday. Parents trying to work out how to keep their order down to 80 items.

So happy they have finally got the hang of this but having Mum's priority slot helps a lot.

If anybody got this it would be you!!! Been hitting the Co-op mostly as I figured Tesco would be run ragged by everybody who couldn't go outside. But as things are starting to ease up I thought I'd have a go.

I went out and saw them again today, little cheepy fuzzballs. And the goslings. We have three broods, which is unusual, though one is really small. I love living here when I see things like that, and it was so quiet out this morning, which means that everyone's got in the car and driven somewhere for a change now that they're allowed to...

Oooh, those baby geese and the moorhen are adorable!

As for the other thing that made me smile today, I got back on the horse with speaking French. I don't have any particular practical applications for that skill in mind right now, but it's something constructive to keep my mind sharp, and you never know when it might come in handy. Even if it's just something as simple as asking for a croissant and getting one of those looks for catastrophically mispronouncing it.
