Finally got my work placements! Unfortunately the nursery I'm at is a little far away but that's okay it's only a 25 min or so bus ride! I'm just happy to have finally got them

Today I was driving along a country road when I saw two ladies riding their horses, I so rarely do I see riders these days, anyway, I had to stop my car to let them cross the road safely - gave me good feelings as I remembered when I used to go hacking in my childhood!

Congratulations Glitterball!

 I made up an improved bed for the little stray cat I've been taking care of for a year. She now has her cardboard box surrounded by a Rubbermaid storage container with the lid over the top and one on the side. I bought her a red flannel blanket on Black Friday and she's loving it. Hopefully, I can get her shots soon and introduce her to my cats, least she'd have a place to come in out of the weather.

The mayor just gifted full time city employees with holiday pay on Dec 24th (which it wouldn't normally be) so we can have a long weekend for Christmas!

Found something funny in a free book, I won't post a picture because it's for people over 18 (I know minors visit this site). It's so rude I burst end out laughing when my mum said we should get one for a friend.

Lost my hairbobble on the way to work. I was sad as I've had it a long time and I wear it a lot.

Coming home tonight, I went through the gate and found it again in the garden of the building where I live. It's not even wrecked. CLearly absolutely nobody else had been through that thoroughfare today. Bobble rescued and now washed

Also today was SUNNY.

December 1st. I could just end with that, but no: I've got three adventcalendars this year; one tea, one with beauty and body products and one with cat treats. All first flaps were nice surprises; the tea was yummy, the boys enjoyed the treats and I got a nice showergel which smelled delicious. I got all my christmasdecorations out and up, except the tree, saving it til tomorrow. My desk looks amazing! In an hour I'm leaving to play some lazertags in the celler beneath one of the malls in the citycenter with my coworkers and the people from the other shop withing the same chain and afterwards we're having dinner at a restaurant. I've already done hair and make up. I have no clue what to wear, but since it's casual I might just change pants and go with my Hogwarts hoodie. I'm feeling so good right now.

Spent an enjoyable, calm afternoon drilling small holes into wooden batons, twisting-in tiny curtain hooks, wrapping them in leaf-green tinsel, fixing them above my doors and hanging an assortment of coloured baubles from them! Sounds complicated but they actually look really nice 

Not sure yet if I will add some fairy lights... will wait and see.

Christmas half-tree already dressed and waiting to be brought down from the attic and hung on the wall in the hall.

So far, looks like only our hall and kid's bedroom will be decorated this year, too much hassle to do the rest of the house!

Had a nice weekend with the hubby, and a productive day together tackling Christmas shopping. Now just ordered a nice dinner to celebrate his promotion.
