Ponies you should like, but . . .

Does anyone else have ponies you feel like you SHOULD like, but you just don't?

For me it's Princess Sparkle.  Lavender and turquoise?  I like those colors.  I like her dramatic pose.  I like her bejeweled symbol and sparkly hair.

But for some reason I just don't like Princess Sparkle.

Yep! The Rockin' Beat and Tropical ponies should be right up my alley; I absolutely love bright colours and kitschy designs but for some reason, I'm just not too up on those sets of ponies.

I should Like the G2s with their bright designs ect but I am just not keen on them. I only have one kinda just thrown into the mix.

The Glow 'n' Show set, I should love them for they glow in the dark,have interesting symbols, and colors but no. I love this set but always tend to trade them off for something else. Same goes for the Sparkle set I try but I'm like "meh" about them. Hopefully, its just a phase because I would like to actually own these sets.

'Collector pose' ponies...I Really should like these, they kicked off the G1's and without them when wouldn't have everything stellar that came after...

Don't get me wrong, I don't entirely dislike them, But they don't display well for me and look downright depressed next to the other later edition G1 ponies.

I think it too, my Macau Butterscotch looks depressed compared to my other ponies.

I was just thinking about this. It's Heart Throb in my herd. She was my third pony, I got her to replace the Firefly that was lost/stolen, but for some reason even back then, I couldn't really love her. She's always held a place of honor, and I will always treasure her, but she's never been one of my favorites. It actually makes me a little sad and puzzles me.

Ponies with food symbols.  I like food.  I like ponies.  Somehow I just tend to overlook them though, even if I don't dislike them.

For me it's the so soft ponies. They are popular and a lot of other people like them but I think the flocking makes the pony look bulky and awkward. And it gets dirty so easily and is hard to clean. I'd rather have the ponies naked.

One of my most treasured ponies, Crumpet, is a so soft. If it wouldn't devalue her so much, I'd deflock her. I think she looks so much better that way.

Galaxy. She has a space themed symbol, a cute name, great colour combinations and an unusual body colour. But...I just can't like her. It's something about her, and I don't know what it is.

Also, the merry go round ponies. I've owned two so far, and everything about them I should love. They have simple colors, but really intricate symbols that are super unique. But, I'm not crazy about them. The only one I want is the purple one {sparkler?} Aside from that, I'm pretty over them.

Holly Dash. She's one of the most expensive and sought after g4s in my collection, and I wanted her for ages before getting her, but she just... doesn't do much for me. Idk.

Also, g1 as a whole is neglected compared to my other gens. I don't know why, g1s have some of my favorite designs and I like their aesthetic overall, I just don't pay much attention to them for some reason.

Mimic. It seems like everyone is crazy for Mimic, and while I love the TE ponies, she is one I just don't like.

This. She ticks all the right boxes. I like green ponies, I love wild, tropical colors, she's a TE unicorn and I like parrots a lot. But if I found her for super cheap, I wouldn't bother to buy her.

Heart Throb is a puzzler for me too. I'm not sure if it's because I don't have the best quality pony of her or if there is something else. But she just isn't my fave....

Blind bags for me.  I *should* like them; I love all tiny things and unique characters.  I like their poses.  But something about them bugs - possibly the fact that Hasbro releases them blind (I really like knowing what I'm buying.)
