Is It Too Late to Start Planning
« on: April 19, 2015, 11:05:28 PM »
Until a month ago, I no job.  I now have a job and have been thinking of attending the fair.  Is it too late to get a ticket and hotel room?

Oh good.  I'll be looking into getting a ticket and the room transfer.  My friend had told me of a B&B family members knew, but it's on the other side of town.

How do I go about getting the hotel room the person who doesn't need it transferred?  I'll be buying just a general admission ticket.  The last dinner I attended had a menu of stuff I don't eat, so I won't be wasting my money on it.

You might also be able to find someone who wants to share their room, if you can't get that room transfer. :)

Anyone looking to transfer a room?  Just PM me.

I was looking at riding the train in.  However, looking at where the Fair is (Schaumburg), I'd actually be better off driving.  What are the parking fees at the hotel if any?

Should be free parking if you're at one of the chain hotels (I'm staying in the Hyatt Place about 5 minutes walk from the Fair hotel - both of which are free parking included).
