Summer ATC Swap! -All sent!

Welcome to Shaiyeh's Summer ATC Swap!

This time we'll make 3 cards, for 3 persons (one card per person), and the partners will be random.

An ATC is a standard trading card (2 ½ X 3 ½ inches (6.3 cm X 8.9 cm)) sized piece of art, usually traditional. It can be a small collage, a drawing, painting or even scrapbooking-style. It can also be made digitally, but then please print it in the right size and mail it. Most people prefer to receive traditionally made pieces through the swaps, and I'd like to keep the swaps that way.

Ponies x a favourite movie, musician, comic book character... whatever you can think of!

Deadlines
Signup deadline - Sunday the 29th of June
Shipping Deadline - Monday the 4th of August. You may ship as early as July 29th.

I will try to get the partners out the 30th of June. This will give you a full month to work on your art.

Requirements

- Good feedback! Please provide a link if offsite. Do this in your Sign-Up PM!
Are you a newbie? PM me, and we'll sort things out.

- That you will fulfill this swap. If anyone has problems with his or her swap partner, or missing cards, don't hesitate to PM me!

- That you will mail out on time. If you encounter problems, contact me about them and we can work something out.

- That you are willing to ship internationally.

- That the art is traditionally made.

- an ATC card is 6.3x8.9 cm (2½x3½"). Please keep it to this size.

- Partners are secrets until the card has arrived. Don't PM your partner asking about things, always go via me if you have a question for your partner.

Just a question - do you think one card per person (3 persons) is too little?
I thought I'd start small as I easily get overwhelmed, but I can change that bit if you guys think it's too little.
Also, you may of course send more than one if you'd like.

I dunno, I know some people (pokes BBD and self) LOVE making tons of cards but I know some people budget their time for only a few. With the Christmas card one we did 5, one card for each person and we kept it at 1 card per person so that one person didn't get showered in cards and someone else felt left out because they only got one.

But I dunno its really up to what everyone feels comfortable with. Myself? Make it rain ATCs!

I think that three is a nice number!

With less cards, we can really focus on te ones that we were tasked to do, and it wouldnt seem too overwhelming as well

Of course, this is just my personal opinion, so...

I personally feel 3 is to small, I'd rather bump it up to 5 or 6.
But I think it should depend on how many join the swap really.

I'm happy with three cards, I always have a bazillion art projects running at the same time and five ATCs would be a bit overwhelming for me, especially with a specific theme like this that may require some research.

(I'll leave this without a sticky for now, for some reason people generally notice regular threads better than stickied topics. I'll make sure to bump the thread as needed!)

yes, i like making more than 1 card per person, but i can restrain myself to making just one. it just seems a bit silly to pay for postage of just 1 card when a few more will still be the same.
