My incredibly sweet partner was Roogna for the Halloween swap. It took me quite some time to decide on her theme. But, she mentioned some of her favorites being anything traditional Japanese, bat, skulls, purples and greens, demons, dragons, heterochromatic eyes, and kimonos stood out to me.
I decided on this Tengu/Kami/Yōkai dragon spirit themed custom (pardon the multiple photos, I will link my photobucket

She had two led lights installed behind her glass eyes to reflect the green and purple heterochromia eyes.
She has light Eastern dragon elements. Sculpted permanent horns and a removable mask. I used bits of peacock feathers on the whiskers of the mask and added a bit of pearl-ex powder on the horns and eyes, and black feathering around the edge.
Her kimono, ho ho ho. Man was that a pain in the buns. Luckily, I had the wonderful LoveLauraLand give me a few tips on how to get it together. Sculpted, then painted gradients of black/gray and then purple and green. There are also imprints of different dragons, a fan, and coins. On her back, in the center of her dragon egg Obi, is the push button for her eyes, embellished with swarovskis. The underside is painted in a bright purple as well and then sealed.
Her hair is a wonderful mix my boyfriend picked out from DH- I believe it was Kiss of Death, Haunted Forest or Poison Ivy, and Hematite. Put into a slight bun with the thread method and adorned with swarovski headpins as well as two little chopsticks that have little spiders and purple teardrop beads hanging from them. In the center of her bun hangs a dragon with green eyes.
She also comes with a little matching umbrella! Started out as one of those drink favor umbrellas, it was painted, added a purple/green bead to the stick, dragon, and sealed.
And naturally, I had to spoil her with goodies. What's Halloween without goodies!? Plus, happy Birthday and Anniversary!
