So here is Midnight Howl I made for Lupachiotta . . .

loginShe started off as a Star Catcher, the one with fabric wings. She'd been kicking around in my bait box waiting for just the right project. When I saw her, I thought her raised markings looked like the kind of tribal tattoo design my internet
stalking research indicated Lupachiotta liked and several different pieces finally fell together into an idea.
First I did an FBR in purple, but it was way too bright, so I sponged on several layers of darker colors until it finally looked right. Her wings were a trick, but I think they turned out pretty doggone well, all things considered. I drew a pattern around the supports from SC's old wings and used some shiny black fabric and permanent fusing around the supports and some jewelry wire to create them. I used a touch of silver paint to highlight the wire ribs in the wings. They didn't turn out as stiff as I had hoped, but I think the little bit of curl at the tips is kinda cute.
Her symbol turned out much better than I expected, and I think her eyes are the best I've done yet. They both have a few layers of glow-in-the-dark paint on them. Nothing dramatic (and there was no way I was going to manage pictures) but just a little extra touch of spookiness. Her hair is actually (really truly) two different colors of monofiber, mostly Grape Soda with a little bit of Coal. It's almost impossible to tell the difference between them unless the light is just right. It's sooooo soft . . .
I'm SO glad you like her Lupachiotta!
I had huge fun making her and it was a little hard to let her go. Love me some spooky Halloween-y-ness!
