Ugh!! Ebay issues AGAIN!! DON'T SELL TO cher266912

I sold some dolls to someone back in early August and they didn't pay for over a week (even though I state in my description payment is required after 3 days, I usually give my buyers a little extra time) So after no communication from the buyer after several payment reminders, I had to open a case against her. She FINALLY paid on August 13 and I shipped them out the same day, gave her the tracking number, and it was delievered on August 15. I got a case opened against me today saying she hasn't received the dolls and asked if I shipped them! Wha?? The tracking number says it was delivered over a month ago. I sent her a message with the tracking number again and told her they were delivered. What now?

Don't fret peanut  :hug:, as long as it shows as delivered she has no case against you. Just provide Ebay with the tracking information and all should be good.

Thanks you guys, that's a relief! Paypal has put the money on hold at the moment, grrr. Should I wait for her to respond to my message or send a message to ebay? I told her it was delievered on August 15th and maybe her mail carrier put it somewhere she didn't see it. Sometimes I'll find boxes under or on top of the bench on my porch, on my window seal, or behind the brick pillar. Maybe it's behind a bush or something :what:

I would message ebay right away. The faster you send it to them, the faster it will get solved.  She opened the case, so I would take that as she is a hostile buyer.  It is better to deal with ebay directly I think. Plus you have no idea how long she will take to respond to you.

Ok, I just checked her feedback and this is what some of it said:

Payment a little slow but we got it done. I recommend

Bad Buyer. Never Paid

Never paid had to open case and they still did not pay

Unfortunitly I had to open an unpaid case against this buyer. But they did pay.

Slow payer, but paid!

Nightmare! No pay until dispute opened then claimed never received. Scammer (that's what she's doing to me!)

had to open case to get paid....very slow to pay....not a good transaction

NEVER PAID. AVOID THIS BUYER

Took a while to pay. Finally did.

But there's also a lot of good feedback, but the false positives have me scared. I think I'll contact ebay right now, I don't think this person is any good!

Hey did you upload the tracking number into paypal as well as ebay? This is why I never leave funds in paypal.  Things like this are so frustrating.

Have you phoned Ebay yet?  In a case like this I feel more at ease talking to an Ebay rep. They will be able to look at her past feedback and also see that the item was delivered. They should better be able to tell you your next course of action, such as how to respond to the case to make sure it goes in your favor.

I am sorry they are holding your funds but that is just basic protocol when a case is open. I bet as soon as you call they will most likely release them immediately to you.

Thanks Ponylady :hug: I called ebay and they told me to contact Paypal (ebay said they'd put a strike against the buyer, but who knows if that's real punishment since she seems to have done this before) I contacted Paypal and gave them the tracking number and they returned the funds and are going to close the case :) Phew! Sometimes ebay is such a pain in the neck!

Should I leave a false positive for the buyer or will I get in trouble for that?

Yea there is a way to put the tracking number in but I think its fantastic you called.  People under estimate how much quicker problems can be solved by just getting on the phone and talking with these people.  I have had the best results doing that.  Next time you get a tracking number, you can log into paypal and there is a section next to the item you sold where you can put the tracking number in.  Its a good idea for your future sales.  Ebay tracking numbers go in automatically if you print a label through ebay, but you can also add them later I think.

Actually if postage was printed through Ebay it should automatically be uploaded to Paypal. So you do not have to manually plug it in, it's done for you.  ;)

sounds like a really dodgy buyer! :crazy:  I'm very glad you had tracking and ebay sided with you! :hug:
Its such a shame you cant neg  buyers anymore *sigh*  but no please dont leave them a false positive - I know it would help other seller be aware of the issues  but if ebay spot it or if the buyer reports it to them, they'll just remove the neg comments and leave a positive feedback from you! you dont want that to happen

Thanks, glad it was resolved :) The seller is cher266912 so everyone knows to avoid her! Looks like she mainly buys Barbie and Disney dolls, but she's one to block!

I don't know why ebay doesn't let us leave negatives for bad buyers. Seems like there's no punishment for them and they'll continue to frustrate and scam sellers :(
