(RESOLVED) Haven't heard from swap partner--should I send anyway?

I'm doing a private swap with another user. I messaged to ask a question the other day, and got no response. She has an email address attached to her account, so I emailed last night, and nothing yet. She hasn't logged on since June 24, either. Should I be worried? Should I send her package and hope for the best, or wait for a response?

I would definitely wait for a response.

Did you two decide on a ship date before you last heard from them?

Oh I would wait to send.  You really need to hear from her in order to confirm that she is ready to send her box to you.  Its a good idea to ship at the same time in a private swap or at least confirm when each person is able to ship.

As far as being worried...how much communication have you had with this private swap?  Its pretty typical in a private swap to exchange several pms right up to the shipping date.  If you have not had that kind of communication, maybe wait until you hear something.

Yup! We decided on July 1st. That was why I was messaging, actually; the date had crept up on me and I wanted to get something really neat that I thought she'd like. I've got everything in hand now, I'm just worried because of the silence.

Makes sense! We exchanged a few PMs during the first week or so, but I haven't heard anything from her in a while.

Yes you need to wait. Have you checked to see when your partner was last active on the Arena?

I'd also say wait.  Best case scenario she sent it on the 1st and you get your package before she gets hers.  It's not ideal, but since there has been no communication and you aren't sure if they have turned flaker it's really the best bet. 

Worst case they don't send and you'll have to sell off the items you bought.  Also not ideal but not much else to be done at this point I don't think.
