G4 question

I have a stupid question. I came to the G4 party late so there's things I'm still getting the hang of. Anyways anyone know how to tell when a pony is made with the black numbers on the bottom of their feet?

Hm, I think you just read the numbers backwards? I think I remember reading that but I'm not 100% sure.

The first digit represents the year
0=2010, 1=2011, etc.

The next 3 digits represent the day of the year 1-365
(I use this site to help convert http://www.epochconverter.com/epoch/daynumbers.php )

The last digit I believe is always 1 and not relevant to my knowledge.

So, for example if the code were 10071
the production date is 7 Jan. 2011.

sd_dreamcrystal, you just need to click on the year you need and it gives a list. You can scroll back further from 2012.

Yeah- they came up with that MintyA prototype ages ago-  I think some of the other prototypes are also surprisingly old.

Yup - thats the way the codes work It took me a while to fenangle that information out of a friend who works for a rival toy firm.
