Sicken TIRED OF EBAY!!!! And deadbeat buyers!

I have had a lot of these too. It's really annoying. One person won a cheap $3 item from me and never paid even though I opened up cases, left messages, etc. I kept on telling him the paypal address was wrong and which one to send it to. Opened a case, never heard back. Right as I was about to close the case, I saw that he tried to pay and sent it to the wrong paypal address which doesn't exist, which tells me he ignored all my messages. And by that time I had just thrown the item away. It wasn't worth keeping and I'm suprised anyone even bought it. Closed the case and told him to cancel the paypal payment. I hate when they won't read messages!

and I really hate when people WAIT until you open a case to pay! It's like they want until the last minute because they want the item but don't actually want to pay for it. So annoying!

How irritating right? thanks for the heads up and I'm sorry you got messed about    I wish ebay would allow us to leave bad buyers negs again too - especially those who are NPB.  Its so much tougher to be a seller on ebay these days *sigh*

I totally agree with you. I also have had some of them pay when I do open a case. But not this one. Still no payment.

I hope ebay realises on the amount of claims for non-paid items, that something needs changing...

Ebay totally sucks these days! I stopped selling there years ago for this very reason. It didn't take a week after the new rules favoring buyers and I had a list of non-payers and other sorts of issues. Never sold there again. Not worth the hassle. It is a shame as I have so much stuff that will eventually wind up getting chucked if I can't find a way to get it to someone that can appreciate it while not creating a total waste of my time.

Ebay should really do something about that, it's never fair that you're not aware who's buying from you! And it's not right. I've never personally had an experience like that and I never wish it on anybody!

Checked this morning and still nothing. I do not understand why someone would take the time to message about the horse and bid, and then not pay? I would never do that to anyone........My mind can not figure it out at all????

I just had someone who is a brand new eBayer with zero feedback win an auction for about $50 from me. He won it on Thursday and no payment yet. I have a feeling I won't be getting one from him. Oh yes, this gets tiresome.

REALLY obnoxious. I have an unpaid item assistant ready to file a claim on him/her, and I hope they actually pay.
Though I really hate people who wait until you open a claim to pay!

If I keep seeing these posts, I'm seriously considering changing my ebay settings to block newbies. It's a shame, but a few ruin it for everyone!

I'm sorry to hear all the trouble you've all had with buyers not paying. It makes no sense to me at all! I mean what are they trying to achieve exactly? Such a waste of time! All they do is give the rest of us buyers a bad name!
It doesn't seem fair you can't leave negative feedback either.... ebay isn't giving you many rights.

This is exactly the reason I share my BF's ebay account.  A short while I posted a thread about my BF buying stuff off the ebay account we share and accidentally using my paypal to pay for his stuff.  Some of my RL friends said to me why I didn't have my own ebay account.  Well here's why...

All these dead beat, non-payers with little/no feedback are killing it for the noobie ebayers many of whom are new to collecting like me.  Because of these irritating people, many sellers have blocks for people with under a certain amount for feedback.  Also if you have had loads of good feedback but have had to change your account for what ever reason (hackers etc) and have to start from scratch this will also affect you.

It sucks that the dishonest ones ruin it for the honest....

Just had to open a case for a $1 pony. I mean, seriously? Just pay it! It's a DOLLAR!!!
Two cases open now. I've never had to open cases on eBay before until recently. I cannot believe people. I just want to unload this stuff. And I wish the person who won the nearly $50 item from me would pay up. He's brand new so I doubt he will.
