I'm looking for a baity G1 boy pony. I don't care who as long as he's absolutely a bait because I am looking to customize him.

I'm not sure how rare the boys are and so I don't want to take any risks.

Thank you.

I have a tex I bought on ebay and when I got him, I was disappointed that he has rust inside and needs a good clean out, which I really don't want to do.  Would you be interested in him?  I'm not sure what to ask for a bait boy.

Generally speaking folks prefer to restore rather than customize boys even if they are in pretty rough shape. So a baity boy won't be too much cheaper than a full price boy.  It's not like the common G1 girls that you can pick up for a dollar or two in baity condition.  But when you buy one, it's yours so don't feel bad about customizing it.  It's not so much that they are rare (well some are) I think, it's more that they are very popular to collect.

Edit to add: I think the last boy bait I sold for $7 ish.  It was a slugger.
