eBay's Global Shipping Program
« on: February 01, 2013, 03:21:51 AM »
I was just looking over the TOS for this program, and I was wondering if anyone has any experience with it. Can you tell me about that experience? I'm wondering if it is worthwhile to use. So far it seems like the only thing I get out of it is that I don't have to drive to the post office.

Tell me a bit about it?

Thank you Ringlets! I did read the previous post about it in November, but I was just curious as to if anyone has actually used it since then :) I really hate the idea of making shipping more expensive, but the security it offers seems sort of nice.

Consensus on the ebay boards is it makes no sense if your item is under 30.00- and be prepared for some unhappy buyers anyway. It seems to ad 20-30 dollars to the shipping cost, and the buyer does not see all that cost before they buy. People have had a buyer buy an item they though shipped for 10.00 then be very unhappy to find out that there is another 15.00 in fees they couldn't see before.

Oh wow. That is just absurd! You would think that when a buyer looked at the shipping info, it would tell them up front about the fees. Thank you SO much for that info. I was considering using the service, but now I will steer clear!
