Masquerade Pony for assassin_kitty

I had assassin_kitty as my partner for the Masquerade swap Which was funny because we are doing a private swap too, so I already knew what she liked
She said one of her favorite poses was the g1 bride, and she loves blue and purple, barn owls and Labyrinth. I thought I'd do kind of a Labyrinth spin on her ponysona. Jareth's dragon mask in the movie inspired me to do this kind of 'scary' masquerade costume on a beautiful pony. The mask, saddle and wing supports are sculpey over mesh and wire. All the paint is acrylic. She's trimmed with silk ribbon, silk organza swirls, feathers, blue iridescent rhinestones, and glitter. Her hair is mostly seran I think. Wild Iris, Ice white and I think I used water nixie nylon for the blue. I am just so glad assassin_kitty adores her I had a lot of fun with her but I was nervous because it was kind of a risky design. Enjoy!

Awesome! I didn't join this swap because I thought they'd all be sort of girly.  This is just gorgeous.  The detailing in that symbol is to die for and the mask is wicked.

WOW thats one gorgeous custom, I LOVE the owl, also one of my fave animals too! Such a gorgeous job on the mask too, Love so much how you incorporated all the likes into one amazing piece of work. The colours are so beautiful too, but wow cant get over that owl, its soooo perfect. Very talented you are!!

I absolutely ADORE the mask!! It is utterly gorgeous!! The paintwork underneath the costume is just fantastic too, but that mask is an absolute winner for me!

Love it! Awesome job, also you prolly planned this but I like how the ribbon and stuff look like Jareth's outfit at the end and I think the mask is dead on for the one he wore in the ballroom scene.Very beautiful!
