Updates

Okay! Whew, I honestly haven't fallen off the face of the internet. I've had my counselor to help me out and my biggest part of my educational journey started this week. I have spent the last two weeks in a tizzy getting my things ready to move for the next 9 months.

While my husband and I have talked, right now, we've decided to table any talks of separation and divorce until after my internship is completed. I just finished up my first day of orientation today and there is so much I am super excited about.

I get to work at an elementary school and I have my own office! So Yay! I'm pretty happy with this, I also started the process of getting my own place where I am at in South Texas. This has been what I have been so super busy with. I also have just been running around like a chicken with my head cut off for the last two weeks.

I need to double check if I posted the Challenge for Week 8, I'm not sure if I did. I've set up the next challenge and I'm working on our 'newsletter' for this week. As of right now we've only got about 5 weeks left. I think we all had something of a slump going on there, I know that I let my emotional eating get ALL sorts of out of control and now I'm getting back on track.

In good news; I got my braces off so I feel like I can actually eat things again now! It's so nice (uncooked carrots are delicious). I did get something of a scare since during my last set of blood work a few of my things came back dangerously low, so I'm off to the DR on Friday to get that worked out (hopefully). Lots of ups and downs for me (and everyone!) it looks like over the past two weeks.

Thank you ALL for being here! Your support really made me feel much better about everything. It made me realize that I would be OK no matter what happened.

One grateful for me is i had a great audition! Surfstar you are handling things very well. We are here for you:) changing my workout to have a mini workout in the morning...lets see what i can do...my mid section is my needed place.

Yay braces off!  :hug:  I am grateful for seeing a hot air balloon today!  Two, actually.  I hardly ever see them here--in Arizona they were all over the blinkin' place.  I love hot air balloons.  <3

Kiwi...  BLEH.  lol  Had some good days, but mostly it's been bleh.  And the healthy habits are...not so much.

Hubbs and I were flat-arse broke for the past 2 weeks. XD

Well the Paypal money finally moved over today, so ... PIZZA. Aw yeah! Delicious, horrible, nauseating Little Caesar's pizza and breadsticks. As we grabbed our goods and began our exit, I said, "I don't think this is a very healthy habit."

The good news is I've been living off almost nothing, so I might have lost some weight. The bad news is most of what I ate was ramen, so maybe not. LOL.

Been so off-track with exercise it's probably illegal. I really need to step up my game there. I am such a lazy bones and I need to not be that anymore. Oh, I am applying for a job within walking distance. :) Hubbs will have the car, so I will have to walk to work and then be on my feet working for several hours. Maybe I'll get lucky. I certainly would like to have the extra spending money to feed my collecting.

My 3 Good Things For the Day:
1. The money from Paypal made it to our bank account.
2. My Nendoroids finally arrived!
3. Hubby took me out for pizza.

Good to see you back Surfstar. :wave:  I am glad to hear this thread has helped you as much as it has the people who post here :hug:

It rained steadily here all day today so I didn't get out for a walk (nothing fun about coming back to work wet and it's too dark to walk by the time I get home).  To top the day off I came home and ate too much chocolate.  Bugger.  Oh well, I am not at the 12kg weight loss mark so I'm not going to beat myself up about it.  I'm looking forward to doing this week's challenge :)

why can't anything go right.. *crey* :sad:

ugh we had a phonecall this afternoon, they're now wanting to delay my admission again. until monday.
that's 6 days away, and in the 3 days, yes, 3 days between clinics I've lost a kilo and a half. BMI is down to 15, any more than that will be incredibly dangerous.

the man on the phone said to my mother 'well as long as she eats 3 small meals a day she'll be fine', and my mom was like 'what meals? are you kidding me.. she's not eaten for weeks, she doesn't even have ensures.' and he said if we have any concerns to go to A&E.. where they can really help, other than putting me on an adult ward where i'd quite likely deteriorate further.

we've contacted my specialist and she's furious. had funding not taken so long, i should've been in there weeks ago.. that's when she made contact with them and began referrals. awaiting a phonecall back from her this afternoon: she will no doubt be doing everything she possibly can.. even if it claws us back a few days, that stops the loss.

i've absolutely had enough. i'm really, really upset about this.. because i'm worried, even i know that i'm getting sicker and the longer it continues, the more serious it will get.. i don't want it to be fatal, i don't want this to happen!! just can't cope with all of this. :cloud:

Let it out Brightside....I really hope your specialist can pull some strings. I will be sending good vibes to you. Do your best in eating and what you can to work towards the good healthy side of your adventure. Enjoy what you can. We are hear for you. You are strong and there will be no way this is fatal for you. There is a world of people who are just waiting for your success story of beating this I just feel it:)

Yesterday was a great tryout for me:) The director thought I made a great blonde...normally the role is for a blonde so my brown hair went blonde for attempt at this role! So good plus. I probably could have danced better...but I am not a fast learner when it comes to dances. I did how ever pretended I was the lead role as I danced...so my face was really in character:) Sadly I did not get to sing my song...only Jingle Bells. We all had to sing it. I sang more classically the first time because its in my training...but the director asked me to do it again and belt it out...and I did very well. I think anyway:) I was asked to play the lead part that I wanted quite a few times:) So that is always a plus. I looked the part, rocked my heels, and could not ask for more. That is always my goal when I try for something. Am I proud of what I have done. And yes:) I will be going again tonight hoping I will look dedicated and it could be my last chance to play that lead role...so I might as well have my spotlight now.

My new work out is this.
6 crunches
6 bike crunches
6sciccor crunches
6 push ups
6 arm sequence that I made up that works that area
and repeat

It takes about 10min to do it. I feel great and feel more energy. I plan to add more as I get stronger. My arm area and waist are in big need to fixing...so lets get this into a habit:)

Yesterday - I was grateful a wonderful audition, my hubby who has been there to push me when I wanted to sit on my butt, and I have some very talented students:)

Today I am grateful for my hubby taking a next step in his business....it will be very scary and a lot of bad things could happen before it gets better or it could turn out great....who knows so if you can send him some good vibes that would be wonderful. I am grateful that I met a former Hasbro worker at auditions last night!!! I worked on the design of GI Joe and many board games....yeah I turned into a huge fan girl and almost had him sign my pony in my purse:P I hope to talk more with him as he knows connections still working at Hasbro!!!! I am grateful to the people I have met in this round and the last round of healthy ponies....I have gotten closer with some of you and I have been feeling very lonely and sad. I have little to no friends where I live. When you have to compete to get students other music people are not the nicest to you...or you feel you are in contestant competition. Its nice to know I can come here and just be me:)

Even when this is over I am going to continue to post my progress. I will do my best to read and comment when I can if others want to do so:) I have needed support more than anything and I want other to be able to have that support after this:)

To everyone who's struggling, big hugs! We'll all get through this together, never doubt it!

Crowning_Glory, I know what it's like to have few friends. I don't have any pony friends at all. It's nice to have a place to go to when you're feeling down or lonely. The Arena always cheers me up! I too want to keep up with my progress when this is over. Maybe we can post challenges for each other until the next formal Healthy Habits comes around.

I've hit a low again. I got sick last Friday and haven't worked out since then. (I'm just now starting to feel better so I'll hit the gym today.) Even though I ate well, I've gained a lot of weight in those few days. My asthma medication includes steroids that are making it super difficult to lose weight. I'm just hanging onto it. I am working out & eating much better than I used to, but I'm fighting such a difficult uphill battle. I'm trying not to throw myself a pity party but I'm very upset & feel defeated. :bawl:

Oops, I haven't been online much in the last few weeks. I've been going on more walks lately since it's super nice out and, I've also been working in the garden more because there are lots of veggies that are ready to be picked. I also had to get my cholesterol checked recently for my health insurance and, my good cholesterol is about as high as you can get it. ;333

My workout today: chasing children down after getting their "beautiful makeover".

Basically, they covered my face and chest with lipstick so I chased them with it for revenge xD
