Glitter & Glow Celestia: Back to Inacurate Hair
« on: September 08, 2017, 11:36:59 PM »
Well, with Hascon this weekend, it's natural they'd release something new.
After the...Equestira...new girls  :pout: I was hoping for a pony & they let one out "Glitter & Glow Celestia"

to see here

http://www.actionfigureinsider.com/hasbro-reveals-two-new-my-little-pony-toys-at-hascon-mlp/

And...she looks ok...she's got the "Bubble Balloon Head" going on that their new Cadence normal figure has, but maybe it's not as bad? She's covered in little sun designs, which is ok for her lighting up. Lighting up is good too, so are glittery wings (I guess) I also think she's big, not like the other light up figures cause they said 19.99

But WHY WHY WHY can't they give her ACCURATE HAIR!
They HAVE Rainbow Dash and manage to put more than 2 colors in her hair! It's not like it's going to break their piggy bank giving Celestia 4 colors of hair like she's supposed to have. Blueish, greenish, pinkish, purpleish....and this toy gets 2 colors.

I don't know why this annoys me so much that they "Cant be bothered" to get her right. Does it drive anyone else up a wall? I mean if they were super cheap at all times and made MonochromeDash the monotone Pegasus I'd understand it's too much to splurge to make a pony with 4 colors in the hair but...meh. Who else do they do this to?

The screw on the leg that sticks out bothers me a bit, but I do like the shades of blue in them. However if the plastic is that transparent, will it possibly discolor over time? I like the shades of blue though, but would like her other hair colors to balance it out.

If it weren't for that unholy pose, I really like the colors. Do they glow in the dark?

I would think that is either a prototype image or the brightness is too high
MLP Merch has the same figure posted and it has 3 colors in her hair, though it's kind of hard to see the purple in the mane XD

Edit: I think the case with the article's photo is that the brightness is too high

Oh. I was hoping part of her hair glowed.

I'm more sick of the pink wings... why does Hasbro just pop pink wings on her randomly? Ugh!
