I plan on heading outside when it's more significantly dark, but I have no eclipse glasses so I won't be able to actually look at it. I live in Washington state and I guess we're supposed to get 92%.

Don't have the glasses and I don't want to go blind.

I might take a 2 second peak but that's it.

Just checked it out with my special glasses.  I'm at home and in the path of partial eclipse. Very cool.

Where I live we are supposed to have about 90% totality and the sun is slightly covered at the moment- should not be long now before it begins to get darker!  It's amazing and fascinating and cool other people here are watching too :D

Back inside, it was nice being able to have a cooler temperature outside. Even though I was unable to actually look at the eclipse itself, it was pretty neat seeing be darker outside than usual.

Okay...our event was crazy.  We had 800 pairs of glasses to give away at 10 am.  By 8:30 there was a long line.  By 9:30 it was 3/4 of the way around the block and by 10:15 it was around the block and going down Main Street.  We've been telling people all morning that we're out of glasses but to ask if they can share with someone for a peek at the sun.  As far as I know people shared.  We also ran out of 25 dozen cookies in ten minutes.

Watched with glasses from my own backyard. Quite the stellar event if I do say so.

I've been outside recording the temperature change for the past 2 hours. It dropped nearly 10 degrees at the max eclipse!

Turned out to be a pretty decent show, though obviously it would've been better with totality given the diamond ring and beads.

We were around 70-75%, but there was no visible difference (wasn't darker or colder here). I took a couple pictures with my cell phone - got a bit of reflection on the edge showing the coverage.

I'm looking forward to the 2024 one, looks like we are going to be directly in the path. :D

We had over 2 minutes of totality here - it was awesome!  Saw the diamond ring and everything.   My cousin came up from Arizona and he got some great photos and video of it.  The neighbor had his telescope out with a solar filter and we got to look a few times before totality - could see some sunspots that way.

A couple shots I took during totality:
