Yes! It is valid for $10 off a single day ticket. I'm going for 1 day only, and the discount went through fine on my single ticket purchase.

I saw the coupon and I was like poo! Why didn't I wait to get my ticket.

I didn't realize they made you pick which day for the one day ticket.

I picked Saturday because I figured the most stuff would be happening... but I am also worried it might be toooo crowded.

Does anyone know if they will be offering tickets at the door (like for Sunday) if they don't sell out?

Considering the amount of space they booked (spanning 2 convention centers) & the general reaction to ticket prices, I would be surprised if it sells out in pre-sales. I don't think they've advertised if there will be tickets at the door or not, but I have a strong feeling there will be.

yeah that was my feeling too... but I wondered if they weren't going to offer at the door tickets for some odd legal reason. I can't see why they won't. I feel like a lot of semi-local families  will show up the day of (instead of buying in advance) That was what happened with Play-con.

Does anyone know if there is an official schedule out yet?  It seems you have to buy tickets way in advance but if you only go one day you want to make sure you pick a day you want the most based on events.

I can't swing another $400 for my boyfriend and I to attend all that, and the HOF dinner and pajama party has been a highlight for me the last few years. I have nonrefundable plane tickets, so I'm still in, but with the ticket prices going up from 45 to 165 for my guest, I just can't. I've been trying to stay positive but this makes me really sad.

Seriously though.  CHEWBACCA MOM???? I just paid $20 to get into a local con a few weeks ago with freaking TWO Data's (Star Trek and Goonies), the voices of She-Ra and Skeletor, Ralph Macchio, and about 20 other actors BUT ITS COOL. YOU ONLY HAVE MADD HASBRO CASH. I'M SURE SHE WAS ALL YOU COULD GET.

I was going to make a guide as to the guests, exclusives and events that are pony related for HASCON ... but Equestria Daily has already done it so well, and will hopefully update a lot quicker than me.

I see they posted what guests are coming and you can see that times the doors open an close but September isn't too far off and my friend Firefly and I want to do one day, because three days is super expensive but I want a day by day schedule of activities and guests so we can pick which day to go.  I wish Hasbro would post that soon, before tickets sell out.

They also said to me, that you can change which day you are going in your account before the tickets ship (and after August 8th all tickets are going to be picked up at the door). So I originally picked Saturday and I was able to upgrade my ticket (with a discount) to the weekend pass... but I could have also changed my Saturday to a Sunday...

I would email them as to when is the cut out to decide which day to go.

I honestly just want to go for the MLP stuff but not necessarily FIM since I don't care that much for the show anymore.  I was actually just interested in going to buy ponies and stuff from people for our section of HasCon.  I know that sounds weird but since I don't get to the MLP Fair that often I thought this might be a good opportunity.  I asked my friend Firefly who would bring me and we would attend together and see what she thinks.  I don't really have any interest in other Hasbro products.  I don't want it to seem like a waste of money for her though and it doesn't seem like the exclusives are worth trying to get.
