The best solution for humidity is a good old fashioned incandescent lightbulb (in a safe stable fixture of course) even a modest wattage left on all the time will keep the humidity low even in enclosed fiberglass sailboats sitting at dock in the ocean.

I had a touch of mold smell crop up in my tin shed (under its rubber-backed rugs) and I added the light bulb and it cleared right up.
