Steven Universe anyone?

I'm pretty fond of this show. I love the visuals and colours, and have watched all of the episodes up to date but some parts are just difficult to watch; mainly the ones where there is some kind of emotional turmoil going on because I always feel the same way on the character's behalf. It's always been like this for me, and it's bad enough that I can't watch many live-action films and such because I don't like the characters being more relatable. Animation is easier, but still difficult at times...
As for a favourite gem, I like Rose Quartz, Lapis Lazuli and Pearl's designs, but I don't feel like I 'know' them well enough yet to say that they're my favourite character.... I'd also love for Turquoise to appear at some point because that's my birthstone <3

I am late posting here, but...

I LOVE THIS SHOW!!
It is one of the best cartoons that has aired in a loooong time and it makes me so so happy when I watch it. It holds my attention and I am constantly laughing. The characters are so real and wonderfully written and it has such a unique, amazing plotline. I have to say Garnet is definitely my favorite for so many reasons. She is the rock of the group and I just love the way she talks to Steven and how much she cares for him Not that they don't all care for him, but the way she does it just makes me smile xD I loved her even before I found out Sapphire makes half of her, which is my birthstone xD And it turns out my bestie's birthstone is a Ruby. How perfect! haha

Amethyst, Steven and Rose are super easy- Pearl is do-able, but Garnet is a little more complicated!  But I do have the shades and wig down so far!

Nice!  I've been wanting to do Garnet myself. Heck,I'm already African American! but I feel I must have the waist (well not exactly but a little more slimmer than what I have now) and the hips just to complete the look :/

Yeah- well if I went with the character I looked the most like- I think I'd be stuck with Rose since she is pink and fat-  but Garnet is an essential. So I'll do her anyway

THIS is my favorite cosplay of all time for Garnet- her costume is so perfect- and she dressed her kid up as Steven- they look awesome!

Anyway- if you (or anyone) is doing Garnet- and doesn't want to painstakingly make the gloves- THESE work great!-  just need to be painted.  Theyfit any size hands- they look awesome!

I've had friends tell me to watch the show for well.. over a year.  But i was so burnt out on Cartoon Network shows I didn't like that I didn't even want to give it a chance.  I finally gave it a chance a little over a week ago and ended up binge watching all of it in 3 or 4 days.

I have a friend that cosplays Amethyst and is slowly working on Rose Quartz.

I also want to cosplay but.. so far it'd be kind of obscure stuff.   Either 'Island Adventure' Sadie, a genderbent Greg Universe, or a Greg/Rose fusion.
