I've been trying to drop chests for those that I get gifts from so I know they're active, but I have the same problem. It is better than it just to be, but still has some issues.

Oh it may be that you used the time cheat?  Back on my old game- I did the time cheat a lot and dropped presents on my friends everytime I moved forward a day in time-  I had that message when I did that.

I think my problem now is that I have 259 friends- but most are inactive, I wonder if I can delete the old ones- anyone know?

Yay!! I did the dance game yesterday and got Fancy Pants and Featherweight!! Right now I am working on getting Flam now from the dance!

of course! That is exactly what I did (sped up getting gems so I could get Rainbow while she was on the 50% off sale.) I'll try to get the date differently and start sending out chests and hearts again

How we can have Luna? I already fight and win over Nightmare Moon, but I haven´t Luna in my game (I have android)

Anyone else getting a message when you try to go to your friends ponyville about versions being incompatible or something like that? I dont remember exactly what the message said.

Yes- I get that message- I think it was something like "your friend has a different game version than you"  - I think it has to do with whether you have an idevice or an android.  So if you have an android- I cant see your game.

Yeah! That is what it says. I'm on kindle though. Good to know. I wonder if they still get hearts. hmmm, might help to clear them, IDK. It stinks.

I had it once, but I think I've since been able to visit that town, so not sure what's going on with that. I can normally connect to all platforms.
