I seriously am sorry for absentness   

I discovered the wonderful world of WOW Mist's of Pandaria  So needless to say I have not got anything done.Period.

My cards are ready! I'll have to wait to get envelops ready once I have addresses though. My handwriting is just terrible, and I sometimes have to redo it. I'd hate to have the cards sealed then have to redo them.

Maddie this is so me! Except I think I am my own worst critic on my handwriting.

I'm all ready to send! I'm afraid my cards are not handmade though, I can't draw and I am no good at photoshop, I hope thats ok!

Of course it is okay!   

Some of my cards are hand signed, and some have "© Marigold" because I thought I was going to fold the cards in half and that would be like the Hallmark symbol on the back of the card.  But when I fold the cards the middle gets all worn down looking.

Your winter holiday?  Even though it is summer during Christmas in Australia, I aesthetically prefer the idea of a winter one.

Sorry I've been one of those absent ones!

I was planning on making my cards this week now that crazy family thanksgiving time is over, but my 11 month old baby got bronchiatus (I'm not sure that's how you spell it) and so we had a rough week. I started to make some cards yesterday while she was napping, and then realized that realistically I was not going to have time to make enough. So some of you will be getting handmade cards, and some of you will be getting store bought cards. And some of you will be getting storebought cards altered to be somewhat handmade.

I can draw slightly lousy G4 ponies, but I went with storebought cards rather than flaunting my lack of artistic talent.  (Though I'm further embarassed to say I never even thought of Photoshopping my cards...   Maybe next year's card swap - if I start early! )

I'm sure it'll be fine. I can draw but I don't think I'll have the time so mine might be store bought too.

So sorry for being absent everyone, my tafe work is finished for 8 weeks now do I can relax and enjoy life. Woohoo!!!

Aww, I'm sorry I've tried to be decently active in here lately. I've just been busy with work, and the thread seemed quiet. I have addresses now though! I can fill out my cards hooray!

I say don't feel bad anyone about non hand made cards. Mine I had done through Walmart, so mine will not be hand made either. I wanted to do nice handmade ones, but I lack the skills and the time. I think the exciting part is simply getting nice cards in the mail. I know since the wife, and I moved we have less cards from friends ect on the holidays. It will be nice to have some more again.
