I'm still playing cazz25.I don't have any problem with the time travel. Are you sure you are doing it right? I used it properly for first time a couple of days ago and for one day managed to get ~100 gems! But now I'm all out of loyalty shards and my Canterlot is cluttered with red changelings XD

I changed the date on my iPad went into the game, all the shops had their icons above them so the game knew that time had passed but the bit at the beginning that says how many days you have been playing didn't appear. Oh it may be that you used the time cheat? Back on my old game- I did the time cheat a lot and dropped presents on my friends everytime I moved forward a day in time- I had that message when I did that.

Mmm I don´t know. But I thought that I hadn´t Luna but she was in my inventory. Have you ckecked there? I thpught that she will appear walking in Ponyville or that she will be in the Ponies section for purchase her, for that reason I didn´t check the inventory, then when I opened it to use some trees I saw Luna :lol: :lol:
So I think that you have to finish all the original quests, I mean the ones that was there before the wedding update.
Now I have quests about Shining Armor and Cadence, I think that they are programed to appear after the nightmare moon quests ;)

Oh I am on kindle too and was having the same problem. I updated again last night and there is now the winter theme.
WildBlue, those aren't Thanksgiving costumes; they're Hearth's Warming Eve outfits. They just look like Pilgrim attire. lol

Which version are you on? IOS, Android, kindle? I've heard the Android version has a lot of troubles with the Friends list... I know my Friends aren't there 90% of the time, so when it comes time for me to gift sometimes I can't. >_< What a bother.

I love the idea, but any extra's bonus percentages to my score are negated by the fact that my phone simply cannot handle the extra load.
It turns what was already somewhat stuttery game into something neigh unplayable.
The music and symbols start running out of sync, to the point where I have 1/4th of the symbols left to go after the song is done....

I did for soooooooooo long. It literally let me do it today for the first time in 4 months I think. It's happened before, and usually the next update fixes the issue, but this time it just kept updating and updating and I was never able to play the balloon pop.
anyways... submit a bug report is the only thing to do really. And even then you won't get anything for your trouble.
I think it has something to do with going between canterlot and ponyville. Like it resets every time you go between the two.

My list loves to go randomly awol as well, except when when playing the EG dancing game. Unless I'm in airplane mode, even if it's not there from the start, the game will magically remember it somewhere during the first song I play. No clue why this happens. Of course the dancing game is exactly the time where I don't want my friends list, since my phone can't handle the dance with friends feature.
Thank you everyone who pointed out the airplane mode to me! I realized I'd forgotten to try the button shortcut I have to turn it on.
This doesn't reset the game, and allows me to play the dancing game somewhat normally. Hopefully I'll soon be welcoming Aloe to Canterlot. :)

The Android version is listed as having been updated today, and I downloaded a 110mb update, but I don't see anything different. :? No new minigame, no new songs, no new ponies, no new stores, no new quests, no new decor, no new splash screen or icon or anything. Even tried traveling a month into the future and nothing got unlocked that way.

Actually, the update fixed my problem :) I was able to travel and leave chests for everyone who I have listed as my friends :heart: Other than that, nothing changed...
Not sure if you can gift wheels, but you can randomly tap decorations and wheela will often fall out.
Yep, tapping is one way. They drop out from shops, the box pony has some and each timer the timer (1 hour) resets, you get a free wheel as well :)

All the other sections except my inventory are blank. I needed to buy something to finish a quest and now I can't buy what I need. My game was working fine earlier today. started this Easter, and i'm currently at level 70 with one set of quests left in each city. i don't know what i'll do if i finish all the quest… maybe start over. hard to say.
for me the hardest part is collecting the heart gems. since i signed up saying i was 12 (long story to that) can't used the social media part of the game.
my favorite mini game is def the equestria girls dancing part. i really enjoy it, and have gotten some awesome ponies. if i could change the game i'd add more levels, and lower some of the ridiculous prices for some of the ponies. and yes. have more sales

Did the new update ruin the dance game for everyone else too? Suddenly there are fewer than half the notes, so getting a pony by the end of the week would be kinda difficult!

To get bats/parasprites/changelings you can either move a bunch of stuff around in the area of what you want (bats = SAA) OR exit the game while in that area and make sure the app is closed. When you open the app again you will likely have bats/sprites/changelings to remove. Same is true of clearable things (trees, rocks, etc).

The game just keeps spawning bats and parasprites I can't get rid of when I really wanted it to spawn clearable objects so I could try to unlock Babs :/I found that the kindle version doesn't have the ability to spawn bats, parasites, or channeling. The only way for me to get those as well as rocks is to expand.

I'm a bit posses about Granny Smith's price tag. Hasbro/Gameloft are totally milking the mlp popularity to make huge bucks. My kindle didn't used to, but somewhere along the line they started spawning and now I get a ton every day. Good for gems, but I'm already up to my ears in loyalty ones as well, plus the magic ones that were still kicking around.

Thank you to the person that posted the tip about the close out location. :) I've tried making sure I'm in Canterlot when I close the game and so far I haven't gotten any parasprites in Ponyville since I've started doing that. I'm getting lots of Twilight changelings but I'm going to leave them alone for a while since you can't tell what element shard it takes to destroy them until they change back.

I use it because I was this close to just uninstalling the app out of frustration. Everything is so expensive and 50 gems is not the same as hacking it truly and giving yourself 99999 gems or something. I think of it as a small boost and it really makes the whole experience more fun without taking the challenge out of the gameplay.

I think they said a couple days back on their FB that they're going to release a big fix patch soon, for the parasprites and othe rissues. apparently, everyone's flooded with Loyalty parasprites.I know I am! You should be able to copy and paste all the files from the gameloft folder, if I'm not mistaken.

You should be able to copy and paste all the files from the gameloft folder, if I'm not mistaken.
I haven't had the lost progress issue, but my game froze in Ponyville today and when I restarted it I had parasprites everywhere. Most of them were loyalty ones. There are so many I don't have enough shards to get rid of them all. :(Supposedly there's gonna be an update patch to fix that. Mostly everybody have loyal parasprites flying around. I'm defeating them as I get loyalty shards :P

(I'm on Android, for the record). Yeah, it's completely random. I'd definitely recommend just checking the store periodically as you play in case you manage to catch her when she's available for bits. Like I said earlier, Royal Guard switched from bits to balloon pop when I traveled from Ponyville to Sweet Apple Acres and back during the same game session.

I used to have him in my game when MLP game first came out, but I've never updated it because I heard they got rid of the hack for it and I was reading reviews that the update was sending people back to the very beginning which scared me :s so I guess somewhere along the string of updates, Jesus got removed from the store :( and apparently there's no backup files for MLP on Android so when I got a new phone, I re installed the game and had to start ALL OVER -_-I miss my Jesus Pezuna :( I wonder why they got rid of him...copyright issues? <:sI did not know he was gone :(

My game is still doing the same thing in Sweet Apple Acres. It says there are 10 hours left on the sale for the Android statue. My mine cart game gave me ponies until I got Tenderhoof. Now it gives me coins and shards but no more ponies. I thought I would never reach enough points to get Tenderhoof but I finally did.

"dear user we've noticed some suspicious activity you have now been banned"

Actually, the Android hack is very easy to install (you just have to put the .ark file in your Gameloft MLP folder) and can be found on Reddit. I wouldn't recommend it, though, as Gameloft's apparently been cracking down pretty hard on hackers lately. I'm not sure how they're finding people (perhaps there's some kind of checksum in the game now), but it'd be better right now to lay low than to use the hacks, I think. :STrue. When I was looking for one I saw that some hacks had 'anti ban' and I was like "Ban?!" :blink: I did not know Gameloft did that! D: I'm glad I stopped trying to look around because again, its pointless :/

The Shadowbolts usually get me because I get so used to jumping over Diamond Dogs that I forget not to jump over the Shadowbolt because it jumps too.

I didn't know that you got Princess Luna after you activate all the element stands and defeat Nightmare Moon. I wouldn't have known about Luna being in my inventory if I hadn't looked online. I'm glad I have Luna now. :)
I'm not sure how many points it took to win Tenderhoof. I think it was around 90,000 points.

My issues with the minecart all come from the lag. :S Does anyone else get lag when they play? Most of the time it's alright, but there have been times before where it lagged and by the time the screen caught up, I was right in front of an obstacle and I didn't have any time to react! >_<No mine cart lag for me, I just end up getting dizzy after awhile, the farthest I went in the minecart was when I started seeing Loyalty shards ^^

In the future I think you can prevent game data loss by exiting it from the menu. If you on android keep hitting the back key and an option will come up in the lower right to exit the game. I think by doing this it also forces your game to save than if you closed it via Android. ..This is true in my experience too, though it doesn't help if the game experiences one of its frequent crashes instead.

I could actually cry!! Ironically I use the game to help me quit smoking, everytime I get a nicotine craving I load the game, collect my bits, level a pony up and by then the craving has gone. So to reward myself I bought 675 gems with the money id saved from not smoking and then this happens......
And yes I did have a cigarette after that happened!!
What's the best way to get more loyalty shards?More expensive buildings give rarer shards. (Although the windmill does like giving me magic...)

Mine is also covered in Loyalty and some Magic parasprites. I really think there's something wrong with the probability of being given certain shards vs. the element of parasprites/bats (can I have some blue ones, please, I have so many Laughter shards and they're useless aside piling them into the totem for 1 bit a piece).
It'd be cool if there were a way to exchange so many common shards for rarer ones.

The update for Android/Google Play is up. I was a little worried that I might lose progress again since I'm almost back to where I was before the reset So far I noticed the graphics are better and the minecart games seems to be running smoother.

The update finally happened on Android. So far it seems pretty fun. I haven't gotten King Sombra yet even though I did a few quests in the Everfree forest. I'm not having the time or inventory glitches either at this point. Does anyone have the things that make each element stand in the forest yet? I made laughter by just using the first 3 ingredients I had Thanks to the posts here I knew not to waste too many shards trying to free the tree.
I think the loyalty recipe is purple mushrooms, garlic and sticky sap. I can double check tomorrow.

the totems at zecora's get stuck on at least 2 of the totems, and will sit there unending unless you use crystals (glitch)
the tree is a global event that takes MILLIONS of shards to defeat. You can check overall progress on defeating it in the game by clicking on it in the events button in the game
I got Sombra and his castle but his exclamation point above his head won't go away even though I tapped it several times and removed a few trees that were near the castle. Does the exclamation point just stay above his head?
Dunno. I cleared away the whole Everfree area before that mission showed up, and it's not like any new ones will appear, so I'm totally out of the running.

And I am further still annoyed by the 'Top Rank gets a PONY but you never will' games and events. Im OK with the solo events to win a pony because at least theres (usually) an honest chance to win it. But these are just unfair!

I suck so much at the mine game. I always impulsively jump when I see a wonderbolt and I since I'm going so fast I can't think fast enough to respond correctly. This is really embarrassing considering I consider myself an actual gamer. This must be why I stick mostly to RPGs. :P
Take a look at the Leaderboards sometime and the usernames are totally insane and unlikely (bots or made up). I rarely see ANY username from my friends list on it.
I got first rank in one of the leaderboard quests! It was the destroy plunderseeds one, and I got a pony :D I still think it's rigged because I didn't kill hundreds of the things. I just killed what popped up in my town, and also expanded a few squares of land.

When you open the game, do you hear the song playing on that initial load screen? If NOT then its your device sound settings. If you do hear it, check the in-game settings.

I started playing the game again after the newest update. So today I realised that canterlot had been expanded, so I set about rearranging things and I cleared all of the parts that were in shadow. After say about an hour my game shut down. When I opened it up all the bits I had taken out of shadow were now in shadow again and everything I had placed in these newly expanded areas is gone. I've lost about 10 ponies.
I shut down my iPad and then opened up the game again but it was the same. What can I do? Any suggestions?

I have not lost ponies or gems yet thank goodness. HOWEVER I did notice the Canterlot Expantion problem you noticed. After several days I think whats happening is you need to buy each new plot of land TWICE. Its first in BLACK shadow. Then u pay idiotic bits and get it cleared. Get rid if the changelings, get no bits or gems for them. Train to another town. Come back and now the same area you just bought is in grey shadow. So you pay A SECOND time....repeat. Basically each new plot costs double bits

I've lost about 10 ponies.
I shut down my iPad and then opened up the game again but it was the same. What can I do? Any suggestions?
I have not lost ponies or gems yet thank goodness. HOWEVER I did notice the Canterlot Expantion problem you noticed. After several days I think whats happening is you need to buy each new plot of land TWICE. Its first in BLACK shadow. Then u pay idiotic bits and get it cleared. Get rid if the changelings, get no bits or gems for them. Train to another town. Come back and now the same area you just bought is in grey shadow. So you pay A SECOND time....repeat. Basically each new plot costs double bits

OMG I wondered if this had only happened to me!!! I spent something like almost a million bits trying to unlock the whole new Canterlot expansion ... and everything went back to being like it was before, except for a couple of patchy spots. Uh, WTF???
I logged in today for the first time today in ages and was glad to see I had some more quests to do!
Noticed that the gem balloon pop costs 20 now instead of 10 (I think?) Have there been changes to the prizes that it gives you, or is it just to make people spend more money?
From what I can tell looking through the FAQ, some of the balloon pop ponies have been spread through the various lesser pops as well, so you might be able to occasionally get a pony even on the free one. Occasionally. The odds on those things are still terrible.
Today I tried playing the crystal mine minigame as the Shadowbolts. It didn't help; a shadowbolt still knocked me out of my cart. Where is the loyalty?!

Nope and you can only win the first bunch of ponies too (including shining armor), I got them all and now, all I can get is ponds :(

Does anyone else have trouble finding Ditzy Doo? It seems like she's never there in my game. Does she show up in Canterlot and Sweet Apple Acres too, or just Ponyville?She can show up everywhere, although I find she doesn't show up very much until a fair amount of land has been bought. Sometimes she also won't appear in her box, but is just standing there facing straight forward. She's been like that in my game for a while now, but she still gives rewards like normal so no big deal.

2. Is anyone receiving hearts and chests? I have a good 70+ friends collected form various sites that claim to be active players and send out hearts everyday but for the past two weeks I haven't received anything at all. I've seen one other complaint of this on reddit but that's about all.
I only get hearts from a handful of people and I know at least a couple of them are not in the US (same as me - one UK, one Canada). I'd be interested to know if my hearts ever get to my flist!

The Amazon version isn't played as much as the IOS/Android version, and the Amazon version is not compatible with those friend codes! If you want Amazon friends you may have better luck on other sites, I think only a few of us here play it since I announced its release :)
No, I've got plenty of space in everywhere but Sweet Apple Acres, where I keep having to remove trees and things because none of these dumb ponies have ever heard of cohabitation. :( It just... never generates parasprites anymore. Or bats, or changelings, or whatever might conceivably appear in the forest. Hasn't in a long time.
I just won Trenderhoof in the Minecart game and now I am not seeing a pony to win in there next. Is there no more after him? Kind of a bummer if that's the case
Yeah, there are only a few (three?) ponies in there and afterwards it's only useful for quests/events. And collecting bits and shards I guess if those are things you need. It's possible to get gems too, but they're so far down the track you're unlikely to get any without spending one or more gems just to get that far, which rather takes away the point.

I got that update too! It's cute, but it's a bit annoying that you have to pay gems to get materials and THEN pay bits to dress them up. Oh well. :) I like it overall!

If it isn't there I'd say you have either not turned on the social bit. Don't have the game connected to the Internet. This is how I feel too! I spent IRL money on an app game, ONCE, and about 6 months later the game shut down. Goodbye, cute little pony breeding game, and all of my special breeds I'd worked so painstakingly to get! >.< I would hope that MLP will be around longer than that app, but you never know when they'll say "Sorry, version 2.0 is out, you have to rebuy everything because this game is now defunct!" :P
I would say it's worth it though. I've found the game a little easier to do things in this time. I haven't spent any money on the game this time around, but I've managed to buy all the gem ponies and shops I've needed in ponyville right up to the task where you need to buy shining armor and cadence. Last time I played I probably spent over $300 on gems to get me to not be stuck any more. Plus this time around I've won I think 4 ponies that were required for tasks in Canterlot.

if I win one more tree in that stupid balloon pop game...are they good for anything other than taking up space? geez.You can tap decorations for bits, but it's not a very high rate of return. In theory it could save your bacon if you spend everything on decor and don't have any shops I guess? Besides that, towns look prettier with trees than without.
Yeah, neon lights was a pony you won at a previous game. But don't worry about it, the points difference is minimal. I can get the same points with the bonus pony as I can without. Sometimes the bonus pony is a hindrance. The first time I ever won a pony was when the bonus pony was a baby pony and I had twilight. Baby ponies are the worst for clear the skies. So I ended up with 200 points more than anyone else.
And snap dragon, 4-5000 is actually a little better than me on average for mine cart. I can get more than that, sure, but normally I'm in the 3-4000 range. So you could definitely get a pony with that. You just have to play it heaps.

(It's not a hack, but in case no one wants to see this kind of thing, I'm putting it behind a spoiler! I have noticed they will sometimes regroup you if you're doing badly. One time I was so far behind in a game I wasn't even going to bother. I came back later, boom first place. No idea why that changed.

Back when I played on android, one of the glitches I noticed was that the group challenges would never remember where I was ranked. I would open the game and it would say I was say 85th. Then I'd go 'find me' and I'd really be 20 so it would update and say I was 20. I'd turn the game off come back later and it would be telling me I was 85th again. Maybe that's happening to you?

I had a bad glitch however. I was trying to win peachy keen from the mine game solo challenge and I was about halfway there when in reset to 0 points.. I have no idea why. My game also can't decide if it wants to be winter still or not, every time I open it it's different. Sigh..
Tip for balloon gem collection I. The mine cart. Play it on the cheapest option. You get way more balloons.

It's finished now. It was just one of those group challenges, but involved getting the most laughter shards via the mine cart game.
Playing it on the cheaper option works for laughter shards specifically, because the elements available change based on how many points you get. For the first 1000 points you mainly get laughter, 2-3k generosity, etc, etc. But to get a thousand points in the cheap version you have to travel twice as far as in the 1000 bit version. So more laughter shards are given.
They didn't for me. It's still my biggest gem maker. But I have heard others have had different experiences with them than I have.

Speaking of things not working for me the same as everyone else, that getting into the top tier and then playing offline trick didn't work for me. I was sort of forced into trying that trick because I moved this week and the Internet hasn't been switched on yet. I was 1st place set to win the granny pony for the dance game. I ended up 45th place when I connected to the Internet this morning. So sad because I really wanted that granny pony. Oh well... Next time for sure.
Did anyone else notice the prize for the apple picking game was 5000 sapphires? Does that mean there will be something to buy with them soon?

I am in the process of trying to get customer service to give me the fly the skies pony from two rounds ago...I was number 7, then suddenly plummeted to 53 by the time the game ended. Can someone please tell me the name of the pony from the Fly the Skies reward from two cycles ago? Not the male pony from this past week, but the one before. I didn't! How many gems does it give you a day, I wonder? Probably not a lot. :P They are so miserly with those gems!
So after playing every day and all but memorizing those silly Equestria Girls songs, struggling to stay above 20th place, I ended in ... 23rd place. :yikes: So either the 'turn off your wifi' trick doesn't work for Equestria Girls ranked games, or I did it wrong. :(

wow really, snapdragon? Last clear the sky's for me seemed to just be average. I would swear that a score that high would have won a pony. You must have been grouped with experts and me with newbs. I got a much higher score than you, but I remember it being low enough that I expected to come about 5th but I came first.
The Houseplant shop give you 1 gem a day with two 5 star ponies or 2 gems a day with 3 5 star ponies.
I've haven't been ranking well in the contests either.

Well... The new update is just one massive let down. All these hints of new places to go, new stories, they polled us to see what we wanted and nothing. Just extra things to spend money on, and a referral incentive. I hate referral incentives so much. No one wants game invites.

They tend to fall where you are facing when you log in. I have noticed on occasion they won't fall until you go to your friends list and send some gifts yourself. Like it needs to be triggered. Try that, and you should see the chest fall wherever you're facing. But if that doesn't work you may be suffering from a glitch. Or else I have 2 Joe Nights as friends, but that doesn't seem likely.

I have never made in app purchases ever , I will never unlock them unless they change it later and give them away on events .
The new update seems to be crashing my phone more than usual, but I guess I have a lot of new decorations from it now.i find that when mine crashes, i turn off the wifi (and 4g if you have it. essentially airplane mode) just to turn it on, then turn the wifi etc back on, and it works fine.

I pulled a stupid and mis-clicked and bought a plot of land in canterlot for 76 gems :cloud:omg That is not cool :(. Send them a ticket or something that is a whole lot of gems, I think i lost so many when i double clicked on time on the Hospital and took 50 something gems and just to complete the cycle to get shards and bits ;( so lame of them , they need a are you sure button before step when doing that.

From whats been posted here and my own experience, turn off the wi-fi on your phone, open the game (still may take 2-4 tries) then turn on the wi-fi again.
Sadly it seems to be a common problem. The best guess seems to be its taking too much memory to load and your device may not have enough free at that moment to load the game and the wi-fi acess. It took me ages to figure this out, and I lost some prizes because I literally could not get the game to load for HOURS at a time, even on a wi-fi connection.
I had such a hilarious thing happen with Lime Pie. I was set to win her through the event. I wasn't as high as I normally am, but I was in the top 20. And then like a few hours before it was due to end I played the baloon pop for gems. And I won lime pie. Which then meant the prize for the clear the skies challenge changed to 8 gems.Neat :)

I still have a ton of bits, but I'm hesitant to unlock more shadowed areas... what if there's a quest or something that gives you rewards for unlocking the shadowy areas later!? :yikes:
Also, has anyone noticed that we get new SHOPS along with this little mini-game thing!? I'm so excited, I got both of them already! Phew! At least they don't cost ridiculous amounts of gems as usual! ;) But I was peeking around, and I noticed that if you want to open the chests from "phase 1" or level 1 or whatever it was, it costs you 5 GEMS a pop! YIKES!

I feel ya there!! I zoomed past that quest because I got a good mix of items on my phone game, but my tablet game has received ZERO streetlamps - and I need five of the buggers!! Aaaaagh!! :yikes:
Also a heads-up, I just got to the 'finish phase 2' part of the quest, and one of the quests shortly before it is "obtain DJ P0n3 in Ponyville, and level her up to 5 stars," so if you haven't done that yet, save yourself some time and do it now! :P

I woke up to a ton of party debris in my town this morning.This bears emphasizing, given it's the only free way to get more gems short of hitting it big with the quests. A quest that requires a certain number of picnic blankets and dessert tables, the phonograph quest (requires 30 gems unless you have one already) which also requires you to collect one gem, and I think one other thing maybe? Than it's just "complete stage three"
I finished the minecart quest and the ones after it all today so now I'm just waiting for the stage to end. You're almost there!

Oh no! I'm sorry! If it's any comfort, I think the party trash shows up at a MUCH faster pace than the regular trash used to ... :/ it's quite annoying! I'm spending 50k+ per day just cleaning up garbage!!

Go to social, invite, then click the notepad/pencil and above where it says "my code" it says "add new friend". I just bought a new phone and it asked me if I wanted to bring data from my google account and as I did, it installed MLP automatically and when I first started the game it just asked if I wanted to use cloud save and I did. Game synced, no trouble at all.

I agree. It is not fun to have to have your ponies do the same task multiple times hoping to get a token. They can't even work in the shops while doing their token tasks. I think I only have 30 glasses for Svengallop so I will be having my ponies do the same 3 glasses tasks over and over for a while. :(

i think there's a place where the forumlas for each are listed, or i'm use myself and others can help with that too.
i recommend making lots of magic shards, you will need them through a few quests.

With most 'land uncover' quests GL has fixed it so if you already uncovered land and have none left to uncover, it will clear that quest.

As I type this, I'm trying to quickly get points on the Equestria Girls game so I can win ... some grey pony with music notes on his butt. XD 60k isn't a ton of points, but yikes, this challenge only had like 19 hours in it or something, and I caught it with 17 hours left! :PI have a soft spot for Royal Riff because I have so many of his blind bag prototypes. :) I checked back every hour or so for the fastest-to-respawn song and got it all done in seven to nine hours. Then I couldn't figure out where they'd put him but he was in my Ponyville inventory somewhere in the middle(???).
I've got Svengallop on both accounts, but since this isn't a time specific quest (... it isn't, right? XD) like the party questline was, I'm gonna save up gems for the big stage on one account and skip that quest on the other! :P

Im pretty sure the 'token' thing is a rigged algorithim so you only get 1 per day per pony task. Regardless of which token, which pony, which task. I have been tracking it since day 1 (yes, Im OCD) and I am averaging 1 token per pony per day.
Frustrating as this is, at least theres no obvious time limit. Though my cynical side is sure in 6 months ALL the token ponies will mysteriously go on sale for half off. And I wil be livid that I already got them all. Or they will have a 'flash sale' buy THIS NEW PONY now with some insane number of tokens for a pony not seen before in the shop (if you look in the pony book and/or pony log you can find ponies that are new each time theres new content added).
See, I never connected Royal Riff with the dark-blue sparkly pony! XD He looks more 'accurate' in his matte version, but ... why dark blue?! @_@ He certainly is more striking that way! :heart:That's probably why. Like I bet they tried a translucent gray pony and it just wasn't attractive.

They may be hidden behind trees or buildings. Go into edit mode and move some things around and see if that helps?

So, uh, for anyone curious about the weekly Wednesday challenge, I just got the "muffin cart" on my phone, and ... it's not a shop. I sort of thought it might be, since it's shaped like a cart after all! But nope, just a furniture piece. D: Disappointing!
When is the update for the new Crystal Empir due out...? I have had my game offline for two months...as I may have found a glitch which has me raking in th gems. My clock is off its time and my shop that gives me gems pops out gems every time I play the equestria girls game. I'm up to 4,000 gems... *blush*
I wish I knew!!! All I know is I moved two months ago, early July and since I've kept my game offline and not updated it, my clock count went wonky. So long as I don't close out the game and keep it running in the background, it continues to count my time incorrectly. I play the game, visit a different land or EG game, and it resets all my shops and ponies every time. I'm scared to update it as I know the glitch will fix itself. So I just keep it offline. Been great getting some of those more expensive ponies.... :DWhen the time comes for you to update , everything will most likely disappear, and your progress pushed back , It is what happened when i went trying a glitch :( ,but hopefully you get to keep it all, who knows,but they could ban you or make you start over even.
the party hat shop that as given away as party of Pinkies Party challenge (to get Spike) is the shop that loads me up with gems. That's the last time I updated my game...

Which pony, the 'earn 60,000 points in Equestria Girls minigame' one? Or one of the group challenges? I suspect a lot of people either use cheats for the group challenges, or play non-stop and buy gems so they can play 100 times a day... :o
I completed the pizza/dandelion quest, then the apple quest (send AJ to pick apples, 2x, produce20 apples at the apple stand, and collect 10 magic shards). Next up: produce zap apple jam, send Svengallop to review his contract, and produce cider barrels from the Cider Mill
Except. I paid 10 gems to skip buying the 70 gem Cider Mill, like 5 quests ago. But now its 20 gems to skip producing cider barrels from it!!!
And BTW I have 14 cider barrels and 43 cider barrels with apples as decorations that I won during the party quest arc!!!!

Some of the quests now say 'place' instead of buy. So if you won it, you dont have to buy it. I got lucky a few times with that. Of course that's rarely with gem purchases.

That happened to me right after they expanded the Canterlot zone! (Like a year ago now?) I spent probably 500k until I realized I was unlocking the same zones over and over again - it sucked!
*gasp wheeze* My poor ponies are exhausted after working nonstop to create luxury pillows for Countess Coloratura! But they succeeded!
Now, our next quest is...send Countess Coloratura to rehearse a new song....
And theres no option to pay gems and skip it. So. You need the Big Apple Stage AND Countess Coloratira to continue this questline.
I only need a few more gems to get the stage...I spent 'em on the cider mill....
I've had the glitch with the game clock too. Sometimes it only counts down when you have the game up and running and not in real time. It's really annoying because I can't leave my game open for hours while I'm not playing it.

I think the update changed the way this works. Since I just started playing again I can't say for sure. If anyone wants to add me I could sure use the help.

I'm dissapointed that you need snowglobes to open the Crystal Empire. At 50 gems a play they should make sure you get a pony but knowing Gameloft it's probably full of useless decorations. No update on Andriod yet.

I managed to get into the crystal kingdom last night, I'm happy to report that there are quite a few ponies and stores for bits there and that they are not all gems. Do save your element shards though as you will need them to free ponies trapped in crystals!Great to know, I'm always getting the coins from the shards and getting the gem every now and then :)

Some of my Sweet Apple Acres quests reset and also some of the Tirek ones. I had to spend 4 gems to skip buying a rodeo enclosure even though I already had one.

I am totally fine with ponies costing as many bits as possible. I have over 8million and barely 200 gems. There should NOT be so many ponies that cost hundreds of gems.

Wow! I'm glad I had 999 of each of the Harmony shards before I unlocked the Crystal Empire. I will have to build my shards back up now. The crystal ponies are pretty but I wish they had just a little more color to them. They are a little hard to see.

I have leveled most of my ponies there, still some left to go ,and just starting 3rd star with Pin Pony, awesome that a lot of you were able to get him .
I completed finally the last pony with Cameras,and the pony with hat ,as well as the musical notes pony, just have 2 more to unlock Coloratura's Rocker and Stylist 61/80 and 21/35 so far, so it is around 2/3 left to go on them .
So I have a total of 201 /282 ponies now :)

i'm stuck on that same deal, but mine is you have to win a gift table thingy , and I have not win it, I did skip the earn the twilight shards , i wasted maybe 10 gems before i gave up and paid 7 to get it out of the way .
tempted to do the same with the pop quest left, and the other quest there is to eliminate a small dark crystal , so far only 4 have come up to get cleared, waiting on the last one , it takes a couple of days for one to show up.

What do you have to buy in the Crystal Empire? I want to get all of the coin ponies and shops but noticed my coins are going down a lot since I bought the white crystal foal and the Crystal Library.
I think I have a few bows and threads but never enough to make anything. My Rainbow and Pinkie always wear dresses though even though I never made costumes for them.

Anyone else having trouble with the removing small black crystals quest in the Crystal Empire? I made the mistake of going clearing happy when I first unlocked the CE, and cleared everything out when I brightened the dark areas. Now I'm stuck on this quest, only have gotten 2 out of the 5 necessary black crystals (none at all in at least a week and a half!) I don't want to use gems to skip it, but so far they're not really coming back, only the wrong ones (bigger ones or the ones that need gems to clear)

If you go back a few posts, it was said that in the Rara questline you really should buy the orange stand, the cider mill, the stage, AND obtain Countess Coloratura. There are several quests where you need these shops, and her (which is why you need the orange stand), any by the time you spend the gems to skip them you might as well buy them. In fact, there are a few quests with them you CANT skip.

I am fairly sure there's a game algorithm that changes the percentage to win specific items when there is a quest for them. IME every single time there has been a quest to win a specific prize that until then was easy to win, it then becomes next to impossible to complete. Its really frustrating.

I think there is too. Like, when the chances of getting a pony is 10x better, they drop the chance of getting any pony to .0001 so your chance is .001. That said, just for giggles I played royal gem pop last night and got a pony in the first balloon.

There are two new ponies in Canterlot that cost bits! I never thought I'd see the day again. Now imagine if there were a new pony that cost hearts... that would really blow my mind.
Bah I haven't been able to get any of the hotel ponies since the orange tapshoes foal. While I'm complaining, I wish the daily events would stop giving lame things and give dress materials since the outfits are only available for like 2 days!
The current hotel pony quest is not cool. You can Fancypants do a task for a plush or a calender which you both needYeah, same with Neon Lights. I've decided to skip this one... I have all the other hotel ponies (except Mrs. Shy because I don't want to blow 100 gems on her), and I'm sure I could get this guy too if I wanted to, but I have better things to do right now than babysit the game for hours for a pony they didn't even bother giving a name.

HONESTLY!! especially how theyre trying to get us to buy multiple 100+ gem ponies/shops for a single guest!
another kicker: i gave mrs shy 25 gelatin cakes, 80 magic shards, and 25,000 bits. i figured i might as well, since she wasnt a limited time guest, and who knows? maybe there'd be a sale on the strawberry shop sometime.
then a few days ago, she left the hotel, CAME BACK, but my progress had been CLEARED!! :mad:

I have all the ponies for all the tasks this time around and the drop rates are staggeringly disappointing. :( Playing near-constantly since last night when Saffron showed up, I have:

3/18 sewing machines
I can collect an entire round's worth of ponies without a single token dropping.
The only things that are useless to buy with gems are the decor items. Its cheaper to skip them and you won't use them later anyhow.

That's interesting that you seem to get more items by leaving the game on. I may try that. Because after two days of being diligent, I haven't gotten any scrolls or sewing machines.

I'm going to miss Saffron. :sad: My game keeps freezing and twice Fleetfoot has given me a bag but my game freezes and resets Fleetfoot's task to completed but I don't get the bag back.move his home to another area in the land, I had to do that twice today ,it could help .

it says i have 21 out of 45, but atm it costs me 267,500 bits to expand one zone :'-0 with that cost only getting higher as i go on, i expect to complete this quest around 2019!!

I'm also working on the 45 quest, but found out you can uncover expansion zones on any of the areas and it will count! So I've been uncovering some in Chrystal Empire and Canterlot since they are a lot cheaper for me right now than Ponyville is! :)
I still need 9 sewing machines. Which isn't impossible, but is unlikely. Especially since I only have Joe to get them with. But its odd how I went days without getting any sewing machines, and now they seem to drop like one out of three times.
I'm not happy to hear about the uncover 45 zones......its taken forever to get up to 30 out of 35 zones uncovered. But if any land counts then I am glad I still have (cheap) parts of Apple Acres and Canterlot left. lol
So I sunk eleven or so gems into speeding up Neon Lights to get sewing machines for Saffron, and I got the last one with three minutes to spare and bought the Hooficrafts stand leaving me at exactly zero gems, just in the nick of time, with all tasks fulfilled...
but it didn't count because the Hooficrafts stand takes twenty-five hours to build.
I wonder if there will be an easier traveling pony after this one. It sucks just letting her sit there and not even try.

Definitely save for the town hall!! Man, that thing took me like a YEAR to get, and you can't skip that quest. >_< It's one of the last ones before getting Luna though, as I recall, so you got some time! :)
Does anyone know how to transfer your game from one device to another. My new phone should arrive in the mail today. I know there is a way, but I'm not sure on what to do. Anyone know?
Josie - when you finish the 35 expansion zones, you'll have to expand 45 more. :/
If you don't have enough land left to expand they'll assume the quest is cleared when you run out of land. Just do however many you have left and if for some reason it doesn't accept it as complete just tell CS. They'll fix it for you.

You think they are done with the traveling ponies? It'll be annoying to have a vacant building in ponyville. lolI hear you on that! I really hope they're not done with that yet, though I hope if there are any other ponies that it won't be as insane as the last few. The last quest was just impossible. Just a heads up - after the update the Cider Mill is now 70 gems instead of 50! I was debating buying that but was saving up for the Big Apple Stage. Looks like I should have :(
I opened the game today and it said there was a discrepancy between my local files and my cloud-cached files and which did I want to keep, and that all worked out fine, but as part of presenting the difference it told me I've had this stupid game running for 203 hours

I've been reporting the top person on my list since I'm pretty sure it's impossible to have that many presents without cheating but nothing has happened yet. I'm super frustrated with the cheaters on this event. Makes it impossible for the rest of us to compete.

How do you get more honesty shards in the mine cart game? I wanted to win Cheese Sandwich but I've only found a few honesty shards so far. Usually there seems to be more. Do you get more in the one that costs 100 coins?

Well I ended up getting my 8 gems today , very weird ,but glad I got them at the end :)
I got Arabian Saddle Stallion for 100 gems without buying the carriage shop. I filled in the shards and earned items and the total purchasing price dropped. Ofcourse there is a chance I need that shop in a later quest but for now I am good :)
Congratulations, how come yours was 50 gems? I had all the shards, mine points, scarves and bonsai trees.
I also play with android. Maybe it was the deadline then. The shop also needs time to build before accepted so maybe because of that? Pay attention to it next time.

Unless my math is wrong, though, the minecart task requires playing twenty-four times a day for approximately two weeks.

...and this is why I try to make it a rule to not pay gems to do the balloon pops. I fell victim of the "lucky time x10" for the new pony for the quest. I hate this game. So rigged. I have spent over a couple THOUSAND in gems and only got a couple of the exclusive ponies crossed off my list. *facepalm* 26 gems down the drain.
Speaking of, does anyone remember when the 50-gem pop first came out, and they said "NEW! LIMITED ONLY!" and it's still here...? :P
Neon Lithts is a 2 out of 4 possibly of getting the sewing machine. But he's ready every 30 minutes.
I got reply from Gameloft but they basically told me that I need make sure I have a good Wi Fi signal, and don't have too many devices turned on at once and then said "Well if nothing else works reinstall the game.

Mine too, TWICE now! The first time they put it back when I got in contact and sent them a screenshot (and they sent along some gems too, which was very nice) but this morning it's reset again and I don't think I'll have time to earn the rest of the sewing machines (I had only 9!) and mine cart points. :(
Okay so are there Daring Do quests or just the traveling pony? I've just got an empty camp that says no quests available and I'm so over the traveling ponies at this point. The requirements are ridiculous. The game should be fun, not tedious. :pout:

I think if it's just the sewing machines you need, he is 50 gems. If it's the mine cart points and gems, he's 100 gems.

Chrissytree, my event suddenly ended today and awarded me 25 gems while collecting tokens from Daring Do. The camp is still open and the crocodile icon is still there but isn't clickable. I immediately sent them an email telling them and added in that I was doing so and shutting the game down right then to avoid any potential mistaken banning, but I haven't heard back yet. If they can't fix it or ban me I will be requesting a refund of the $30 I spent to get the wild fan pony, because if I'm banned I won't be using him to get any further story ponies, you know?

Gameloft doesn't care about the wrongful bannings, they will hide behind their "We can do whatever we want whenenver we to anyone we want for any reason (including NO REASON) because that's what you agreed to." They will not tell you what you supposedly did, only that "their logs prove the wrongdoing". They will not refund anything and are very evasive on all questions, I had to go to Apple for help :( I had NO ERRORS in my game, no cheating, no bug exploits, no friends to cheat, nowhere near top 4000th places in ANY social event (i'm not even trying to compete with the legit hackers/cheaters that they do nothing about ....) I BOUGHT STUFF FROM THEM! and i got the banned message of "2 days", contacted them, they said i lied about it saying 2 days, told me it was 7 days, my scores removed (ooooooo hurtful *rolls eyes*) and my progress would be reset so i would lose the stuff i had even used real money to buy ...... THAT is what chapped my hindquarters, ESPECIALLY since i've done NOTHING wrong :\ for being so concerned about "Being fair to it's honest and loyal players" they really aren't being fair at all :(
Violet, yes, it's happening to a lot of people. You need to contact CS and tell them so they can reset your game and restart the event! I finally got my save file to work but it reset to a time before I had gotten the 2nd token pony so now I am collecting locks. Again.wow , this is not cool at all. but glad you are at least back to playing the event.

I was in about 200th place at the time, so I got a shop and the community pony out of it... honestly I'm pretty sure I don't mind getting out of the event early with that kind of payoff. Scheduling pony tasks is not great fun.wow , so it must be a glitch and also not due to reporting .
Yes, it's a glitch and is happening to a ton of people. There are a lot of players griping on facebook about not being able to finish the event but a large number of them also never reported the bug so how would Gameloft know they had a problem...? Anyway, I am over the halfway mark on liana vines and actually managed to win the pony in the Clear the Skies event! I've never done that before! :D And she completed a collection so I got bonus gems. It was a good day!
There was another gift code I didn't realize: EXPLORE So the codes for this event are EXPLORE and ADVENTURE. There's 40 extra gems for you. :)

Well my event ended again. I let CS know and asked if they'd just send me Quibble Pants and Concierge Pony because I had 60 of 75 vines collected and won't have time to start over, and if the event is over I won't get Concierge, and they sent me 200 Amulets toward winning one of the big prizes. ?????? That's the solution to a problem I don't have.wow again , that is not cool at all, hope they fix it on time or send you the ponies.

I contacted Apple through the itunes store and yes, they refunded my money that Gameloft stole from me. Which is a lot more than I was expecting them to do since it wasn't even their fault :) Super happy with my Apple support, and VERY upset on the gameloft non-support :(

I finished the Crystal Empire questline!I watch the videos every day for the items to craft more outfits, I finally finished the outfit for 30 % on Fluttershy for the mine game, It also took me forever
Getting enough buttons for Rainbow Dash's outfit took forever. Getting 15 magic shards somehow took even longer.
Next update includes a new location - Changeling Kingdom! :owow , I was expecting Cloudsdale or a different one
I'm overly amused that part of the plan for this update seems to have been to revamp every bit of UI they could think of, even if it was just to change its color or move it to a different corner of the screen. These things are pink now! That gradient is blue! Whee!
And now its even more challenging to actually SEE the pony towns due to the stuff cluttering up the outside frame!!!
Liking the update in terms of the un-timed un-social questline. Also liking that I got several ponies and a shop for FREE!!! Def look through each towns pony and shop list in the store for "0 gems" priced ponies and shops.

I will admit I shelled out for the Discord's Pumpkin shop because it makes Gems - 2 every 6 hours! That's a TON compared to the other Gem shops! I kind of thought if I paid for that now, in the future I might have enough "free" Gems to get a pony for free that I'd otherwise have to pay for.I only have one gem shop , it gives 1 every 6 hrs, or 2 every 24 hrs , i have it set at 1 every 6 hrs
I got Cratus and the Worker when they were on sale, not realizing they were for this event. I'm at 6431/12000 with 4d7h left!
Houston, Discord's Pumpkin was a real money transaction. I had Google Play credits saved up and used them to help lower the cost. I think it was $30 and came with some gems & decor as well? I don't remember the "extra" stuff thrown in, I was just in it for the gem-producing ability!
Finished the event this morning! I liked how the game implied there would be more to do in the Changeling Kingdom in the future.
I'm on stage 3 of Chrysalis vs Thorax but have no booster ponies for this stage.I was able to make it without boosters :)

I did it!! I beat Queen Crysalis in the Changeling Kingdom within the time limit to win Morphed Thorax!! With 7 hours to spare, and no bonus ponies for Stage 2 or 3!! I just set an alarm to go off every 2.5 hours and remind me to check in. It was a total grind!!
And now back to checking in only once a day to get gems, hearts, and shards of harmony. Till another grind quest pops up. Likely a social event thats timed and cant be achieved. Yay.

Magical Girl Pony (Sailor Moon!) was on sale half off, 200 gems now! So I spent my last saved gems and got her!!! SO EXCITED!!!
The Glitter pony (Jem) is also half off at 250 gems. But I only had enough for 1 of them.

Thanks for the code Skeen! I'm working on saving up again for Flurry Heart or Sunburst. Didn't have enough gems for when they were last offered as I spent all my saved gems for the Thorax bonus ponies. And I give up on the balloon pop, I have spent over a few thousand on them (no joke!) and end up with hardly anything. Don't ya love spending 50 gems to get "3 gems - RARE!"at least 5 gems on mine :) but then i fat fingered some random thing and there went my gems, lost 7 on some pony play time arghhhhh >_<

I get about 15 gems a day. 3 shops, 2 videos, and a few lucky swarming drops. And I feed the shrines a lot too. I get 2 free skips a day so if I'm not using them to skip an event I'll set one of my shops to produce 2 gems and then skip twice for 4 gems.

To the best of my knowledge, none of the ones actually purchaseable through gems will be gem shops. I think those are ones you have to buy with real money (and there is a current one for sale in a bundle for $29.99 :/ ). Though one was available as a prize through the pinkie pie party sidequest a year or so ago where you could earn Spike.
The Candy Machine was offered for a short time at the very beginning of the event. If you had a delay in updating, you missed it. GameLoft said it will be available again further into the event but that doesn't help the people who are behind and could use the extra tokens because they're already 4 days behind everyone else!
The Candy Machine Shop is now in the store for 60 gems. I bought it. It built pretty quickly too. Go go go ponies! Get me tokens for more ponies!!
Did anyone see the Pet Shop? It's a gem producer but it hasn't shown up for me yet.In the first day or 2 of this update, pre-event, it was offered as a bundle for real money. I dont remember the price, as I ignore those bundles since I refuse to spend actual money on this game. Most shops that produce gems cost actual money in a bundle, and rarely if ever show up in the game shop for gems. Except once, during the party event last year when you could 'win' the Balloon Shop randomly.
I'm WAY late to the party, but I finally relented and got a smartphone so I can finally play this game! (By "finally relented", I mean my old phone died and I had to get a new one. ;p )added you :)

Finished Stafe 3!! Won Poofy Hair Pony. And now I wait...ugh, so not fair! The biggest problem with the "Community Events" is waiting for stages to unlock as a group even if I complete a Stage before the group does.
The last 2 community events I needed a few more hours to win the final pony in the Solo part, and if I had not had to wait for the community to unlock, I would have won it!
Although, GL did fix 2 other problems. Ponies can do the tasks and still work at a shop, and you can 'assign' them to the event tasks from the one menu.
I won the Puffy foal too :) it went very fast . only day and a half to finish it :)
but to make him work on the community event he needs the Fast food Wagon :( 360 gems

You *ahould* get all 3. Whichever bracket you end up in qualified you for that PLUS the ones under it. So if you are 1-100 you get pony, shop, and gems. 101-400 you get shop amd gems. And 501+just gems. Or at least, the other community events worked like that.

My Niece won the community pony , super odd because she just opened her quests last night and was placed at level 900 then even lower to 1000 , then few hrs later she was at level 92 and set to win the pony prized , she then played more and went to level 53 and won the pony. This morning :blink: so weird and lucky for her, I just won the shop and then also hotel pony came up and got it with shards.

I wonder sometimes if they group the players by age or game type - I notice that my iPad and iPhone game accounts will sometimes be in different brackets despite having similar scores. I wonder if they put the kiddos in a bracket all of their own? Which would be nice, TBH, it's more fair for them that way! Congrats to her anyway! :heart:
