In Generation 1, a variety of non-pony critters were made in a pony-like style. nbsp Zebra, camel, giraffe, lion, moose, dinosaur, llama, elephant, panda, cow, sheep, kangaroo, Spike the dragon who also appeared in the show…am I missing any? nbsp Then in Generation 4, many more species (real and mythical) appeared – bison, griffons, zebra again, dragon again, cows?, deer?, yak? and more, but not many of them got toys. nbsp

Am I missing G2 and G3? nbsp I can’t think of them having “friend” species like 1 and 4.

Soooooo…What pony friends would you have liked to see in past generations, in the shows or as toys? nbsp OR! nbsp What friends would you like to see in G5?

For me, I would have liked to see a donkey G1 toy! nbsp As a kid ...

Hello everyone,

This is my first time posting here so I hope I am doing it right ;-) nbsp I am a G1 collector from New Zealand who started collecting by expanding my modest childhood collection with US releases and am now focusing on international variants, especially Greek ponies, but I also love the German, Spain TAFs and Dutch ponies. nbsp  I'#039m especially proud of my Greek Easter ponies, Spain TAF Sweettooth and my full collection of TAF babies - so much pony happiness!!!

In addition to my pony collecting nbsp I also have a full collection of SSC dolls, collect old natural history books and satsuma porcelain occasionally. nbsp I also love needle felting realistic animals which I do full time by commission based on people'#039s pe...

Has anyone used both of these products for pony customs and liked one better than the other? I've researched this online a bit, and it's pretty evenly split on which people prefer, but nowhere did I find anyone using it on plastics similar to MLPs. I would be using it to repair the horn of a bait Baby Moondancer that I purchased without realizing it was broken off before she arrived, and for redoing the eyes of a de-BBE'd baby pony who I managed to crack the inferior material I originally used during a rehair I did on her.

I'#039m a frequent Poshmark user, both for buying and selling, and I'#039ve noticed that lately, a bunch of retro G1 pony themed items have been showing up that I haven'#039t seen anywhere else. They'#039re usually priced pretty high in the $40 - $70 USD range and as you will notice in the photos I'#039ve compiled, all have the same round, brandless tag on them. I did try to ask one of the sellers where they got these from, and I got a snotty answer along the lines of, "quotwhat do you want my payroll too? crylaughingemoji"quot and a block. Ugh! Anyway, does anybody recognize these, or have any idea where they might come from? I really would like to have some, particularly with any TAFs on it lol cos they'#039re my absolute favorite, but they'#039re just so expensive...

Hi peeps! I'm still around, just not very active in the toy-collecting community these days.

Anyways, I'm taking the last of my ponies out of storage, and I'd like to know: what hair colors are prone to fading? I know light pink is one, but I wonder if there are others I should be concerned about.

Secondly, can these colors be faded by indirect sunlight? Most of my ponies are stored on an open bookshelf right behind my bedroom door. As such, they're usually in semi-darkness. Is it still safe to store fade-prone ponies there, or do they need to be banished to my closet?

Thanks for taking the time to read. Hope life is treating everyone well.  :good:
