Title: Princess Tiffany modification - Do or don't?
Post by: ZeldaTheSwordsman on April 10, 2014, 04:22:35 PM: I'm considering modifying my Princess Tiffany by poking a hole in her mouth or maybe cutting it open between her lips so that she can hold things in it (like, say, a wand). What do you all think?

Post by: Rachel-Eyes on April 10, 2014, 06:35:31 PM: I have a Gingerbread who came to me with the exact same mouth slit. She's been cut around the lips so I can squeeze her, and attach things in her mouth that way. I like to give her holly to hold during Christmastime.

You'll have to show us how Tiffany turns out! I'm sure it will be adorable. :lovey:

Well they kinda did, with the Sippin Soda ponies, who just have a round hole cut out of their mouths. It doesn't look so great if they are displayed without accessories...

That was actually helpful: It was a perfect guide for making the cut. And the plastic is perpetually trying to return to its original shape, so that means she's got a tight, natural-looking grip.

Ah, but they did. At least some G2 ponies had open mouths designed to grip accessories.

A pity the idea was not continued; it's way better than G4's daft everything-clips-to-the-leg setup.
