Title: Did you know most of us have been saying it wrong?
Post by: iam_misshennessy on August 23, 2020, 09:46:35 AM
So today I learned "Merry Treats" is actually "Merry Treat" - singular. I have never "heard" (read) anyone call her Merry Treat before, and so I've always just assumed it was "Treats", plural.

Although... Merry Treats sounds better *shrug*

I just checked and as far as I can see I've been referring to her correctly...cool! Did make me second guess myself though. :P Merry Treats sounds cute though!

...except as you can see in the URL and the link in the link frame to her page ;)

I can confirm the UK card also calls her Merry Treat.

The same is true for Nilly (Vanilla Treat), hence why I called her Nilly as a kid >.>

And I always see people using the spelling "Tuneful". Which is only correct if you're in the UK ;) The US card gives her name a double ll...

I had to do a search for my own posts to be sure, and oi, guilty... :P No idea how that could have happened, usually if I'm not sure about the spelling of a certain name or word I google it before posting!
