Oh my, that time of year again?  Time is flying too fast.  But I hope these holidays are better than last years for me (I was sick with covid).  Congrats again on your wedding Charmer!

I'm sorry I guess I posted this on a different thread. Nothing at Farm & Fleet Saturday. The store I checked and another checked by my friend both said they're anticipating six but can't tell us when. I'm really hoping that's not six in the state or something.

Meijer had older re-releases but still nice to see on the shelf.

My local Cracker Barrell told me to check back Tuesday, that they are expecting more ponies soon as they were out and she said they go "pretty fast".  However, knowing my luck, they are just going to get more of the older waves.  My other local store keeps putting out Flutterbyes, Gustys, and Sparklers.

I stopped at one of my local Farm and Fleet and no luck. I was unable to do a thorough check to see if they had a designated place for then on the shelf, and were just out of stock. I will try the other one on Tuesday

We were also eating the fruit (literally) of our labours tonight. Gooseberries from the garden, in a crumble. We had them frozen waiting for sister to come home, as we haven't had gooseberries in the garden for years and it was super nostalgic.

Growing stuff is fun :D

What makes this so horrible for me is that people on the spectrum generally are more sensitive to the behaviour and mood of other people than someone not on the spectrum. We do have problems sometimes reading that mood correctly, but hostile energy, we pick up on very easily. It's also much harder to create a sense of 'self', I forget what it's called but there's some research that has proven that autistic people struggle to identify themselves and thus are more likely to build on the opinions or expectations of people outside. And this can be really dangerous, especially if the people outside are trash.

It's really possible to create massive amounts of trauma in an autistic person from something that someone else might just laugh at and call a joke. Telling her that she would become evil for being 'girly' and had to change how she acted - given that people on the spectrum are constantly being told to change/act a certain way/conform/whatever...would have been traumatic.

Just makes me sad as a fellow autistic person that she had to go through that, and I really hope she's able to come through it and find confidence in being herself.

It would be really nice if people didn't put so much pressure on others to be something they aren't, basically. And gave them some time to figure out for themselves who they are...

i made eggs for breakfast and added some of the chives I grew myself! i've always had a terrible time with plants so it's a big deal to me. this is the first time i've been able to eat something i grew myself.

i did grow basil once but my dog kept peeing on it. needless to say we didn't eat that basil.

Thanks, Ponyfan. I'm still not feeling well. Better than yesterday but still very blah.

My complaint is I'm dizzy today and very shaky. I can't do any artwork because of it. I'm annoyed at the surveys I've taken today too. They ask for the demographic info and after I answer all that it tells me I've already taken this survey. It's also taking me a lot longer to finish the ones that do go through. One said it would take 20 minutes and I think I spent 45 on it.
