My daughter loves Rarity because of her cutie mark and colors, but she is not a fan of the G4 style ponies. We have a few and she refuses to play with them, favoring the few G1s and G3s I have given her. I told her I would try to find her a G1 or G3 style that looks like Rarity, but I honestly cannot remember if there are any or what their names would be to look them up on Ebay.
Thanks for your help!

In G1 you can refer to Sparkler as Unicorn.

Really close, as she's an inspiration of the actual Rarity.

Glory is the closest I can think of in g1. Sweetiebelle or Royallette might be closest in G3.

I recommend using Strawberryreef to find a close match. The symboli doesn't seem to be on any white ponies will purple hair.
Edit: I agree G1 Sparkler (Unicorn) is probably your best bet if it's symbol over body color.

I would've suggested one of the many variations of Sweetie Belle since there are so many. I actually have 3.5 Sweetie Belle which I kept only because she has that Rarity type colour scheme.

Thank you! I do not think I even know who Sweetie Bell is. I will have to check her out :) I have a Sparkler in my room I could give her! I completely forgot about her.

G3 Cloud Climber is a good choice, being white with deep purple hair. My daughter has her, she's gorgeous!
G1 Sparkler is good.
As is G2 Diamond Glow.
G1 Glory of course.
G3 Rarity if she doesn't already have her.

I think it depends on if your daughter prefers G4 Rarity's color scheme, or her symbol. Or is either good?
G3 ponies with a similar color scheme:
G3 Cloud Climber
Lovey Dovey? Kind of?
Royalette - I think she would be a good Rarity substitute because she has a jewelry symbol. Diamonds, jewelry, pretty close.
Silver Rain
Sweet Sparkle
Sweetie Belle (has the advantage of being a unicorn, too)
Wondermint
Frilly Frocks doesn't look too close to Rarity, but is close to her in spirit since she runs a boutique. Maybe you can find her playset for cheap? It's super cute and definitely a shop Rarity would approve of. ;)
In terms of G3s with diamond or jewelry symbols:
Amazing Grace
Crystal Crown
Princess Peppermint
Glitterbelle
Also, all the 'jewel ponies' have literal gems embedded in their cutie marks . . . She might like that. :)
You could also get the mini retro Glory toy to give her.

Thank you so much for the suggestions. I think it is a combo of both her colors (purple is my daughter's favorite) and the diamonds. She likes the symbol, so she is in love with the Sparkler I gave her. She is only five, but she got teary eyed when we went into my room and I gave her Sparkler from my collection. She said 'Mommy - I am going to keep her up when I am not playing with her because she is perfect.' Love my kiddos, they are just too sweet for words.

aww that is the sweetest thing ^.^ don't you just love it when your kids start loving MLP too. sharing the love is awesome.
my daughter is old enough now to love and care for my G3's now ^.^ makes me proud.
awesome, rarity is created from/based of G1 sparkler ;)

Maybe G3 Denim Blue might be a bit alike. She's white with dark blue mane and sparkly cuttie mark. =)

Just convince her that ALL ponies named Rarity are awesome no matter their color, and get her a G3 Rarity the Unicorn (pink)

Aww.

You can get a g3 Sweetie Belle for pretty cheap, and customize her. It might be something fun you can do together.
I love that she is so careful with your toys! That is precious! My son is 4, and pretty good in the pony room, but the other day he told me he is going to have a bigger collection than mine that he can actually play with.
