She was the pony I always wanted as a child, but never got and the first pony I bought when I started collecting :)

Have her. She's so pretty and unique! One of my favorites and she was a minor grail.

She was one of my childhoods ponies, the old lady of the bunch because she looks like a relaxed friendly grandma to me. She is the mom of my Baby Tiddlywinks, and currently she's also an astronaut.

I love the sitting ponies! I wanted Bubbles and Seashell so badly as a kid.

Have her! I actually got her as a complete surprise once when i purchased another pony, she came wrapped up with it! She's in not the best shape, but for free that's okay with me : ) I used to not like the sitting ponies until I got her, now I love it.

I have her, but my goodness, despite having several go through my hands I have never been able to get one in decent condition! She always either has discolouration or head/body mismatch most commonly. Or marks or bad hair! :lol:
My Italian one fares much better, but I still live in hope that a very nice, simple US one will find her way to me :)

Yes, and italian. Sister also has a couple I think. I am not a fan of this pose though. Seashell was SO CUTE in the Uk stories, but I dunno. I never liked the sitting pose that much and would have really loved her in a different pose.

She's purple and ocean-themed - right up my alley! I haven't got her yet though, despite some near-misses. Whenever I've found her in the past, she's had the dreaded head-body mismatch. :drunk:

Here she is, all dressed up as an astronaut! (Fitting since I only have 2 shoes for it.) Perfect attire to watch the Falcon Heavy launch an hour ago.

i have all the sitting versions, i don't fancy the South African one cos she doesn't sit :P

I have her and love her but, I think mine is faded alot shes not as pretty or a brighter purple. I think I need to upgrade her.

Have her and I think an Italian? Love the blaze, wish more ponies had blazes, snips and stars! Wish she had been on Rescue at Midnight Castle too! When I was younger and a noob to ebay, I though I was buying a moc US Seashell. I didn't know much about nirvanas or ponies from overseasback then. What arrived was this pony with ugly eyes (no offense to variant collectors) and cracked, yellowed, coming unglued bubble on a moldy card with artwork that didn't match what I was used to. I still have her. If she's valuable these days, maybe I should sell or trade?

I have both her, and I really love the seated pose ponies, I think it's very sweet, pity they didn't play well, and seemed to make Hasbro shy away from vastly different poses from just standing.

I also have a *very* baity girl who is extremely faded who I was thinking of turning into Taffeta's purple Minty. She was purple, right? I have to go and look that up...

She was purple :D Although the fading might mean you need to redye the body as the fact file image is VERY purple.
Would be awesome to see when you're done though. I have always wanted that Minty to exist since I was a kid, she was the only minty I knew about till I encountered Miss Pea Soup at the carboot sale and wondered why her symbol matched Minty...
Also, Night Glider, what is your Powder doing with a silver horn? Does she think it's still the eighties or is she just reeally enthusiastic over art and craft? ;) XD

Purple Minty? My friend has one but it's G3, in a sitting pose, so that's what I thought you meant at first.

Yay! I loved that look on her when you posted in the other thread :) - Khoufu, Taffeta can tell you better as it is her memory but there is a fact file card for G1 Minty that actually shows her as purple.
And Powder... yes. She is one of my 3 'unlost' childhood herd members. And apparently I felt that her horn needed to be silver. And, well, there you are then :blush:

@Khoufu, in the UK in 1987 we had a horseshoe point offer to send off for a binder which contained pages for all the ponies (allegedly) out at that time, 125 I think, and each of them had a picture and a story. In that file, Minty looks like this...

She's not a fakie, she's a baby Keyper. :) The Keypers were a line of critters that had a secret compartment so you could hide "treasures" in them. They did a lot better in the UK / Europe than in the US.

I think her name is Glitter. I remember the adult horse was Diamond (the original one anyway) and I think the baby is Glitter but I don't remember. There were a few horses and some of them didn't get names.

I like her! I have never seen her in good enough condition for me to get her though, since I'm overly picky with my collection. But the colors and the pose are soo nice <3

Love her. I only have the HK version of Seashell. Love the white star on their noses, too! Such a shame they didn't make other ponies in this seated pose, it's adorable. Wonder if it was because of the Pony Wear outfits weren't properly wearable on the seated pony pose?

I love the sitting pose but somehow I never got round to getting Seashell. I wouldn't mind getting her one day but she's not a priority.
