Hi guys!
I'm Leena from Finland. I'm 35 and I work with teens. I live with two dogs and a fiance.
I just recently started collecting ponies. I was going through old toys back home and found my G1 ponies. You know, the usual story... ;) The feeling of holding an old familiar pony was kinda overwhelming. I found myself packing the ponies and bringing them home. I spent the next day washing and brooming them. Even bought fabric softner which I never use. I've never been much of a collector nor a nostalgic person. Yuk. I've bought 18 G1 ponies in a week, and acne cream.
It feels good to be here. ^.^

Hi, welcome to the Arena! It's good you have your childhood ponies, a lot of collectors don't. Who all do your have? :D
I just want to give you a warning. Never ever use acne cream on ponies. The harsh chemicals will discolor ponies, usually creating white blobs where you applied it. Moreover, these can spread around the pony to places you didn't apply it and to other ponies touching or even near the pony it was applied to. Acne cream harms ponies and does irreversible damage. It doesn't restore them, and though it can look great in the beginning, that is deceiving.
With that PSA out of the way I hope you enjoy it here! The Arena is a wonderful place, can't wait to see you around :)

Thank you! :) My childhood ponies are Sundance, Floater, Dainty Dahlia, nss Cupcake and Tutti Frutti.
Yeah, thanks for the heads up. I'm aware that acne cream might ruin the pony and sunlight is a lot safer way to face marks etc. The ponies that got acne treatment were already in bad shape. The white got yellowish as I expected, but it looks better than before the treatment.

Ooh, those are some great ponies!
Just be sure to keep the treated ponies away from others so it doesn't spread. You don't want your other ponies getting discolored :( I'm glad they look better though! (Sorry to bog down your intro with acne cream stuff)

It's alright. :) The cream spreading to nearby ponies was new to me, so thank you for that. :)
