I recently acquired a Night Glider whose hair has definitely seen better days, and I think it would be fun to rehair her with something besides plain white ^.^ But I'm not sure what to do, so I'd like to see all the other Night Glider rehairs out there to get some ideas! (And if you can name the colors you used, that would be even better)

Stalking this thread! But an easy way to figure out an alt rehair color scheme is to work with what's already on the pony. Purple, yellow, maybe with some white if you have any on hand would be really neat to see, it would match her symbol! Maybe a silver or gold would be cool too? I haven't seen any Night Glider rehairs yet, unfortunately!

I agree! Yellow/white/purple would look nice I think, and I'd probably like her better than all-white Night Glider, I love ponies with colourful hair! :biggrin: Maybe you could sneak some blue into there, like slightly darker than her body... Oh, or maybe just blue and purple?

I saw someone rehaired a Night Glider with glow in the dark hair, thought that was a great idea! It is still white, though.

Funnily enough my good friend wants to do this. Her girl came in a bait lot. In fact was the entire reason for my friend purchasing that lot. And so has very little hair. However Dollyhair has been out of glow in the dark hair for over a year now, so it has been very tricky. She also wanted to paint over the white parts of Night Glider's symbol with glow in the dark paint.

this made me miss the alternate rehair threads...
if you want to go the glow in the dark route, maybe check some other doll hair websites? i don't know how much luck you'd have, though.

Oh dear, I do wish I had not seen this. Yes, I do. Now I have to find a baity Night Glider... and rehair her like this. Oh yes.

Personally I think colors like this but with a bright yellow stripe would be REALLY cute, and your dilemma is almost making me wish I had a bald Nightglider! If you want to put some white in there, you can't go wrong with glow in the dark.

Saja used to post here often I think, her colour combinations are quite unique to her and kinda painterly. I like her stuff.

2 of the 3 I have of her have hair cuts. Still haven't had the heart to give her alternate colors. I'd love to see her with just yellow hair...

Oh my, you are so lucky! I think many people on here are currently very jealous of you ;)
Why not take a hank of yellow and just lay it over one of your girls to see what it looks like? Or if you don't have a hank of hair, just drape someone's tail over for now. Were you thinking yellow like Applejack or yellow like Merriweather for example?

All were thrift grabs so in all I paid under $10 for them... None are perfect, but I'm not picky.
I love seeing her with alternate colors, but I think I'd go GITD with one on the right and probably restore the forelock on the one on the left and grab her a new tail.
