Our Princess of the Night finally has her own (kinda) mold! She looks so pretty!!!

Ahhhhh, nice. I don't mind purple Luna at all, I just wish her cutie mark looked better. Like it was printed how Fancy Pants babies had their's printed. :c She seems like she'll be a bit too tall compared to Celestia brushable, but I don't own a Cadence so I can't check the size. :[

Ah, at least that distinguishes her more from Fluttershy and that's a color combo we haven't seen yet. I probably still won't get her, just because I don't like yellow, but I'm glad they switched her up a little.

some other pony site's merch section has a thread with links. Lyra, trixie, lemon hearts w/o cutie mark were released on taobao as well. I imagine they all sold out quick, so they're not showing up.
Edit: that's weird. Is there some autocensor that replaces other site's names with the generic "some other pony site's". :shocked:

LOVED that new version of Sunny Rays. It would be awesome if the brushable had purple hair. But the Blind Bag version didn't, right? I think the blind bags and brushables are usually pretty similar...

About Sunny Rays, yea her blind bag ver. has 2 shade pink hair but the pale pink and dark purple combo. of this brushable is pretty! Though this color I think clashes with her cutie mark color a bit I think it's nice she won't look as similar to Fluttershy if she is released this way.

True it does go with her eye color well. I think it's just the orange/purple contrast that throws me a bit. I think I'd put an orange ribbon in her hair to balance it and it wouldn't bother me anymore :satisfied:

Wantie want want want want! And when I get her home, I will paint her shoes so it doesn't look like she has tumor-flesh-shoes or whatever you'd like to call that mess.
Also that yellow peg looks so much better with purple hair. Wow. Now she's not Fluttershy with different eyes. Yay!
The only thing that makes me sad is Nightmare Moon and the other TRU exclusives. My closest TRU is SO lame, and about a half an hour away from me. It takes them forever to get new toys in, so I don't particularly like TRU exclusives.

So it looks like younger, non-possessed Luna uses Cadence's brand new mold and Nightmare Moon uses brushable Celestia's mold (from the Royal Castle Friends pack)? Neat.

I love Sunny Rays' hair colors now. She was so boring before but with that deep plum color I must have her...
Also is anyone else sad that Heartstrings doesn't have the correct eye shape? :/ So sick of all unicorn toys having either Twilight or Rarity's eye shapes. I'd like more variety, plus I like the wider eye looks on the toys more...they just translate better from cartoon to 3D, IMO.
But yeah...still totally want that Luna. Would be nice if they got her colors right but this is by far the best version yet! I LOVE that new mold!!

I love Luna in that mold. She looks so pretty. I wish her shoes were painted, but I guess I can fix that myself easily enough. I also love Sunny Rays colors now. She looked too much like Fluttershy in the fair pics, so I'm glad to see that changed. Of course, I'm really excited about getting Luna and Trixie. I just hope it's not too long until they show up in the stores.

Hahahaha! That was my first thought. Well... sort of... What I actually thought was... "Huh! They made a more accurate Luna mold and now they're making other ponies with it." In my head, I've always thought of it as the "Luna" mold, so now I feel rather vindicated. GO ME! XD
Do I mind purple? Heck no! Purple is my favorite. But, it would be nice to see the correct blue colored Luna as well.

And I do wish they had gotten the cutie mark right, though I guess with it only being on one flank having it larger would have looked funny, and again, the black probably isn't what they think will go over with little girls.
I hope she comes with her crown and collar at least...though I know those would never be show accurate color wise either >_<

YAY! I am SO excited. I was really disappointed with the luna released with Celestia from the canterlot series. Her eyes seemed so off to me. I could live with her size, but her eyes.... @_@ I did like the light up one better, but the price prevented me from purchasing her. BUT THIS I will be getting! YAY!

You talking about the wings made me realize something. Her wings are one full colour, darker than the rest of her body...
Does that mean that Cadance/Cadence in her finished version will have the purple wings instead of the gradient wings? That would be a serious pity.

I have a sneaking feeling that she'll be part of a $16+ set though. She's purple but maybe I can over look it? Probably reroot the hair though, to remove all the extra colors. But...Hasbro? WIDE RELEASE. Please don't make her the 4th Luna that non-Americans have trouble buying. ^^;; She's really swell. Throw us a bone, plz.

I. Must. Have. Her. I just LOVE that mold to death! Granted, if she ends up in stores and isn't in some freakishly expensive set, I think I'll have to give her just the teeniest tiniest bit of a rehair to take out the pink, but I do think this is my favourite Luna toy so far! Like I said, I'm in love with that mold, mainly because of the wings. Those are some uh-may-zing wings!

I guarantee the color choice is from a sales standpoint. We've never had a ton of blue ponies in this gen or with G3s to begin with. :\ Color-accurate Luna would be awesome though. I really wish they'd paint in her details.
That being said she looks pretty good! I am digging the glitter wings. Her proportions are a little wonky but I'll still be all over this toy when it comes out. :)

LE GASP! I knew it all along! I can forgive some similar ponies as they do try to stay within a target area of colors/themes but come onnnn. Make her pink with a corral symbol and teal hair BAM, new child appropriate theme and still pink. No more flowers/fruit/baked goods @_@

I originally didn't want Cherry Pie since she looks so similar to Cherry Berry (and I like Cherry Berry better) but I ended up changing my mind in the end because I figure that maybe those two are sisters. I suppose if one parent is a unicorn and the other is an earth pony, it would be possible. Plus, I want every different character. I have them all so far except for Star Dreams, Skywishes and the new ones not out yet. Of course, that's not including the re-releases because I only want one version of each character, the only exception being Fluttershy since she's my favorite.

Yay!! Finally, an accurate Luna! I didn't buy either version of Luna at Target because they were too short and the eyes on the Luna with the pink Celestia looked kinda weird. (Besides, I'm waiting for a white brushable Celestia.) Leave the derping on the toys to :muffin: Pony, please! :biggrin: Anyway, this Luna is the perfect height (probably... I haven't seen her compared to normal-sized G4s so I don't know for sure) and the eyes are perfect!
